Ecoline came in to replace 5 windows in our home. They did a great job on the installation. The installers were friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. On install alone, I would rate them a 9 or 10. It was the cleanup that was my concern. It was a mess. There were nails left on my son's bedroom floor where he plays. So much dust and chips in the carpet. Dust on the furniture. Pieces of insulation, wood pieces, and nails in our yard (where my son also plays). We spent a lot of time vaccuuming and dusting and picking up remains after they left. I recommend that Ecoline spends more time prepping the job site - put down more drop cloths. Or at least tell customers to cover all their furniture (and floors?) and turn off their furnace fan because the dust will get everywhere.

I was looking for a particular type of Shaw carpet, and David at Carpetbaggers ordered it in for me. He has great prices compared to other carpet vendors, and his customer service is fanstastic. The installers were very efficient and did a great job. I'm very happy with my new carpet, and I would definitely recommend Carpetbaggers to anyone looking for new flooring.

I got 5 basement windows replaced, and one egress window cut and installed. I'm the type of person who wants the job done right the first time, and I don't want to be bothered with return visits to fix things. So even though they were more expensive, I decided to go with MAXgreen because they had amazing reviews on Homestars. My initial appointment was rescheduled because of a mix-up in jobs (they thought they had to dig at my place, but the digging was already complete). So my appointment was delayed by a week. This was not an issue, as we weren't in a rush. A crew came in the next week to install the windows. They did a really great job, the installs went really well. The only thing I would complain about is the clean up at the end. The windows were not very clean, and there was this dry putty material that had to be scratched off parts of the window casing. Also, they didn't give me a choice for trim, and I probably would've chosen something different. I did mention the cleanliness to MAXgreen when they asked me about my experience in a survey, and they offered to come back, but I had already cleaned. So they gave me a $100 rebate, which was a nice gesture. Considering what I paid, and the reviews on this site, I would've expected the job to be perfect. I am satisfied with the work, and their Customer service is really good -- they want you to be satisfied with the job, and they want every customer to have a 10/10 experience.

Hi Whitney, Thank you for working with us to have MAXgreen try to make up for what was an inexcusable mistake. There is no reason why a customer should have to clean up our mess. As discussed, this has been addressed with that particular install crew and they have admitted their oversight on that job and we are confident that will not happen again. As for the mix-up for installation dates, that was a mistake with the paperwork of the installer and has also been addressed to ensure that never happens again. For the trim options, we do include pictures of our 3 standard free options on the quote, or offer to install any other trim our customers want. As you said, we are definitely committed to ensuring every customer has a 10/10 experience. We are always striving for continual improvement and exceeding our customer's expectations. Thank you very much for your feedback and helping us become better at providing our services to our valued customers. Cheers, Adam.

I was a little weary in hiring another excavator, because I was very unsatisfied with a previous bobcat company that did not even close to finish the job they were hired to do. Thankfully, I hired Excana to get the job done. They excavated some dirt from the side of my house. And did exactly what I wanted them to do! Jamie actually came by on the weekend to scope out the job. He scheduled me in for that week. Everything was done really well. He left the grass in perfect shape, he didn't wreck our sprinkler lines, he leveled the ground, he cleaned up after the job was done. He even roughed-in some dirt stairs! I would highly recommend Excana for all your excavation needs!! Thanks for a job well done.

We had some grade lowering to do on the side of our house, and had quite a bit of dirt to move. Over the phone, Tom quoted me and said he could come the next day. He came by at around 1pm and brought his unique slim-fit bobcat. He talked about all the possible options we had for landscaping (Tom will talk FOREVER if you let him), and I thought he understood the scope of work I had for him (since we discussed it for an hour), and then he finally got to work. He worked for 1.5hrs on the bobcat (including a break for Tim's that I brought him), and then he talked and talked some more. Then he left at 4pm to get another piece of equipment. When he came back he told me that our bill had already been racked up to almost twice what he had originally quoted me!! Whaaat? The job wasn't even close to done, it was 6pm, and he still had another several hours of work to do! Never once before he starting working did he discuss an increase in cost we agreed upon the previous day. I was really upset with this news. But Tom indicated that all his ideas and talking (so much talking) were "design" hours and that his time was worth it. HA! I already knew what I wanted. And it was really simple. He just kept throwing around more ideas, and charging me $110/hr for chatter. Oh, and he also charged a $250 equipment fee for loading and unloading - another thing he didn't discuss with me until 6pm. But, I am a sucker, and continued to bank roll him, just cause I wanted to get the job done. Tom worked the next morning as well to 'finish the job', but he didn't remove even half the dirt that I asked him to. I had to get another bobcat and truck to come back and finish the work that Tom did not. The next bobcat company I used was much better. Way more efficient, honest, hard working, and professional. I would not recommend Tom to anyone.

Dustin and his crew came out in the pouring rain and chopped down an old spruce in our yard. It was a big tree and they got it down quick! The next day, they came back and grinded the stump down. They were very professional, on time, and did good, fast work. I would definitely hire them again!
