We have used this company several times already, always with happy results. Mike and his team are punctual and courteous. They respect your property and perform the work in a timely manner. Our latest job was a kitchen install, including connecting our sink, dishwasher, and water/ice-dispensing refrigerator. They also connected our washer and dryer, then noticed that our bathroom drain was plugged with cement so could not drain properly. They fixed this as well, the same day. These guys are so great, and the price is always reasonable. Really! I wish I could post my phone number so I could tell people directly what a great company this is!

I have shopped here in the past to purchase lighting for my home. Sadly, we sold our home and the lighting had to go with it. I returned to Living Lighting to find lights for our new place. I needed advice since the fixture hole in our ceiling was off to one side, and not centred. Cindy was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, drawing pictures on paper of what my options were. We decided to go with a chandelier with a chain that could be dangled from the middle of the ceiling by adding an extra hook. We even customized the chandelier by adding a white translucent shade to cover the whole thing to make it appear more modern. Cindy called me the next moring with the price from the shade company, before going ahead with the order. The whole thing cost less than $200!!! I am blown away with the great service and attention that I received. I will definately shop here again. (I have also visited Universal Lighting near Yorkdale with the same issues. This place is pricier than Living Lighting but I am not sure why except that they have a bigger showroom. The man I spoke with had no idea how to overcome the skewed hole in the ceiling and nobody else helped me at all). Cheers to Living Lighting!!!

They got the work done fast but they had to come back twice to make more adjustments and redo the sink installation because they didn't glue it right the first time. The sink fell right through and it was such a disappointment to not be able to use the kitchen for another 36 hours. The glue smell was so strong yet again too. Good price however... may be worth the hassle.

Aubrey provided us with the most courteous, respectful, and professional service that we have experienced in a long time. His expertise is obvious and he did not waste any time working efficiently during the whole repair process, and offering detailed information at every stage. We assumed that we would need to replace our refrigerator with a new one, however he identified the problem immediately and it has been working A+ ever since. We will not hesitate to contact him again should we experience difficulties with any other appliances. The price was less than what we expected and the whole experience turned out to be surprisingly pleasant.

They came to measure the next day and the following week the countertop was done. They included a free sink in the price and did a custom rounded edge on one end. They forgot one piece in the corner but came back the next day to complete the job. The price was definately right and the countertop and sink look fantastic. (Looks so good that we now have to upgrade our floor tiles and backsplash!)

Service is mediocre however their pricing seems questionable. Appear to overcharge for simple tasks and list tasks on the invoice that were never completed. We have decided to switch companies.

They appear to be friendly at first, but they are thugs and swindlers. Do not trust this company! They will not arrive on time, and after many, MANY attempts to contact them, IF YOU ARE LUCKY, they will come and do some work for you. But the work will be with poor quality and lack of respect for your property. We have had to pay several thousand to have the work redone. Stay away!

Fred arrived on time, looked over the area to be cleaned, measured, then gave us a price and a time frame. He was very careful with our young children, bundling up any metal pipe components with towels so they would not burn themselves from the hot water running through. He was friendly and courteous and not at all pushy. He ended up removing some terrible stains from our beige carpet that we thought would remain forever. The price was exactly what he quoted, and it was done within the time frame suggested (2 hours). For great service, professionalism and timeliness, call Fred at Soft Surfaces! We will definately call him again in the future.
