I have used Ruddock Paving twice now. This firm is professional, and their employees are very courteous and efficient. Originally when they paved my driveway it was down for fifteen years. Only in the last year did it crack and show signs of wear. It maintained its colour, texture and durability very well over several hard, cold winters. What I like about this firm is that they don't scrimp on the details. They use quality materials. For instance, the gravel they put on the driveway was top calibre, not a lot of dirt. By contrast, I have some neighbours whose driveways are cracking apart only a couple of years after having been paved. I would definitely recommend Ruddock without hesitation.

Our family has used QSI for over twenty-five years. Every window and door in our house has now been installed by them. I recently arranged to have them replace two storm and one patio door. As with previous work they arrived on time, worked diligently, and did a superb installation. Both gentlemen were very knowledgeable and skilled, and their clean-up was superb. The patio door they replaced was original to the house, and two of the storm doors were installed by another provider whose products were shoddy. What I especially like about QSI products, aside from the quality, fit and finish, is that the capping around the door and window frames is really well done. The doors are also sealed well. This is a great company and great people. Several of my neighbours in East Burlington have used QSI, and all of us are delighted with their work.

I contacted Steve by e-mail on a weekend and he called me promptly on Monday. He came out to see the work that needed to be done, and gave me a quote that I thought was very reasonable. The work involved repairs to the base of a brick post adjacent to my garage and against which my downspout was situated. Repairing it was clearly beyond my meagre skills, and two neighbours who looked at it confirmed it needed someone with masonry skills. Steve came out the following week and did an amazing job repairing it. You would never suspect that the post and brickwork had seriously eroded. The work site was left clean and in pristine condition. Steve was great to deal with, and I have no hesitation in providing this recommendation.

I contracted with Gord's Basement Waterproofing to repair an outside wall on my home where there was a suspected crack and water leak. The team they assigned to this project arrived on time and completed the work in two days. They did an amazing job, and were very hard working, thorough, clean and neat. They excavated along the whole south wall, and after they finished you would never have known there had been an excavation. They went out of their way to minimize the amount of dirt and disruption. Everyone on their team was very courteous and good-natured. Without hesitation I would recommend this company and the services they provide.

I contracted with Vacu-man to clean my ducts. They did an absolutely amazing job. Not only did they clean each register individually, they cleaned they took apart the first, cleaned the insides, and cleaned the ducts in the crawlspace. They were at the house just under two hours, and did a very thorough job. Steve and Bruce were great to deal with…very thorough and professional. The quality of work performed was vastly superior to what I had experienced previously with another duct cleaning service. i would not hesitate to recommend Vacu-man.

I contacted 3 firms to get estimates on water heater installation, and selected Shipton's. They told me it would be installed in four hours, and it was installed in less than two. The two gentlemen who installed it were professional, thorough and prompt, and their clean-up was excellent. The entire buying and installation process through Shipton's was extraordinary! I would not hesitate to recommend them.
