I am really happy that I went with Doors & More. I was given a quote right away and scheduling the measuring and installation was very convenient. They did not try to upsell me on the finishings and instead recommended what worked with the space. They did a great job installing the door. I'm really happy with the quality.

If I could give True North a 11-stars, I would. Daniel and the whole crew were total professionals and did an amazing job underpinning our 100 year old semi in Parkdale. Daniel was incredibly responsive and provided some excellent feedback about decisions that needed to be made about the basement. Josh was our foreman and he was incredibly friendly and helpful through the entire project handling the co-ordination of the plumber, Reliant, etc. The crew got into our basement every day through the basement windows and used a porta-potty so the disruption to our home was minimal. Had it not been for a couple terrible snow storms and the Christmas break, TrueNorth would have completed the job a full week ahead of schedule. They really wasted no time, arriving every day at 7am like clockwork and got straight to work. Considering the horror stories I have heard from neighbours about delayed reno jobs, I have been incredibly lucky to have worked with True North. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering an underpinning their home. To be honest, I would tell anyone that they would be foolish to not make True North their first choice for an underpinning project.

I've hired KC a few times in the past for small jobs so when we decided to underpin our house and finish our basement, KC was the only person I called for a quote. The project included framing, drywalling, painting, electrical, and flooring of one main family room. It also required extending the stairs (since the basement was 2 feet deeper) and the installation of a sump pump. KC's crew (Ali & Sam) were thoughtful, professional, and considerate of our requirements and minimizing the disturbances in our home. I really appreciated Ali's input about several decisions for the basement including options for the flooring, positioning of lights, and finishing the stairs. We had one issue which came up with KC's plumber but, true to form, KC corrected the issue immediately. KC was also incredibly helpful in picking up supplies for me which was an incredible time-saver. I know countless people who have had issues with contractors and renovators but this project came in on budget and on time (which was incredibly important as we were expecting our second child). Both Sam and Ali worked a couple Saturday's to make sure everything was finalized on time. We're incredibly happy with the results and would recommend KC to anyone considering both small and large projects.

Dave put us in contact with Kelly who has been cleaning our home every 2 weeks for the last few months and we couldn't be happier. In contrast to the previous cleaning services we had tried before who always under delivered, Kelly has done a thorough and professional job every time. She's gone out of her way to get even the smallest things sparkling clean. We'd absolutely recommend her to anyone.

I would highly recommend KC. The work he did was exactly what we wanted, looks great, and was well priced. He was incredibly responsive to calls and emails. He always arrived on time to give us a quote and to start the project. After the first day, he realized I was missing a supply and offered to pick it up and save me the trouble of going to the store (and probably buying the wrong item). The main project we wanted done was the installation of tiles in our entrance hallway. For any future projects, KC will be my first call and I would recommend him to anyone.

Our home's water connection was an old lead pipe which we wanted to replace (so we could request the city to replace the lead pipe in the water main on city property). We got 4 quotes, including one from the city's replacement program contractor, and Draincom definitely had the best price. Ievgenii and Anatoli showed up on time and got right to work. They had to cut and move an enormous cement block from our front walkway and did a good job of minimizing the damage that had to be done. The job took 4-5 hours without incident and they did a great job cleaning up. The front lawn looks good as new and there's a fresh patch of cement on the basement floor. I'd definitely use and recommend Draincom in the future.
