Then they came the day before the move to wrap every single piece of furniture in blankets and bubble. Then the move itself was a model of efficiency and care. Avenue Road, and especially Kas Tobin, went way beyond their duty in helping us to file a claim against a shingle company, BP. Kas came to our house - at no charge - to take dozens of photos on top of the roof, did a diagram of the roof with all dimensions noted (as required by the claim) and found our old invoice from 15 years ago. Avenue Road is not implicated in the claim against BP, and was not obliged to help us. But they did. This is a sure sign of a responsible company, and I was totally impressed by how they responded. Recommended highly.

We`ve used Larry Jewitt before and always been pleased with his work. But this job was a bit bigger and more complicated than previous ones, and he and his crew did a fabulous job. He had to contend with some tricky uneven levels in our driveway, and a very difficult neighbour (it`s a shared drive), but he did a first-rate job, with his usual humour and calm. Would recommend him anytime.

We got estimates from 3 companies and chose Professional because they were, well, professional. They came on time, their work was excellent, the clean-up was thorough, and they even left me an extra piece of trough in case I needed it. First rate service. And to top it off, Patrick sent us a thank you card after we paid. We have hired dozens and dozens of contractors over the years, but that was a first.

We have a large city-owned maple on our front lawn, and have had problems with our drains for years. Finally decided they had to be replaced and called Drainworks. Their work was extremely professional, very thorough, neat and fast. They gave us a very detailed estimate and completed the job in only 2 days - including digging up our basement drains, installing a backflow valve, and digging up part of our driveway to replace the drains outside. They hung up plastic in the basement to contain the dust, and when done, everything was cleaned up as well as possible. Their price was competitive, they came right on time, they inspected the work when completed. I would recommend them very highly.
