This company does not offer quotes or ballparks up-front, though they accidentally did for me, which was not at all what the actual price was. The cost incurred was $99 to come to the house, and $129 per fixture (replacing existing basic, flush mount lighting fixtures). A two-hour visit cost nearly $700, which is a lot more than what Homestars itself claims is the average electrician fee ("fully licensed electrician can charge between $65 to $130 per hour, depending on the complexity of the job and their license type"). Obviously the price was well over twice that. I appreciate that the management called back two and a half weeks after the initial voicemails that I left, to try to remedy my concerns.

Ian and his team saved the day after a couple of contractors bailed on a fairly small job. They were professional and supplied a very detailed and fair quote promptly, and stuck to the quote. The process was completely transparent. They were efficient and responsive during the work, and I was impressed with the attention to detail. Floor laid with precision, the finishing touches were beautiful and showed craftsmanship (the intricate cuts on baseboards, skillful caulking, etc.). Would definitely recommend.
