NOTE: I see there are numerous Davey Tree companies listed. I assume it's all part of the same organization. The arborist/representative who visited us was Kyle who delivered on all that he promised. We've had this tree in our front yard for the 18+ years we've been in our house. In the past few years, it started dropping crazy amounts of sap on our cars and the pine needles got everywhere. It was time to take it down so we got several quotes. The winning bid went to Davey Tree since their price was competitive and they would take care of the permit process with the city of Vaughan. The permit process took several months, all due to delays at the city. Once we got approval the Davey team was here in a week to do part one - cut down tree. The crew of 2 arrived around 9am and after scouting around the tree, made a few cuts and it was down in seconds, falling exactly where they planned. The whole thing was cleaned up in 1 hour and 30 minutes. Then a couple of weeks later, a crew of one arrived with the stump grinding tool. He was extremely careful to work around our inground sprinkler system and explained everything he was doing. As the pictures show, it was a clean and problem free process. I highly recommend the team at Davey, the results are clear for all to see and the team was truly a pleasure to deal with.
