I found this company on a google search, and cold-called Eavestrough Company with a rather urgent and special eavestrough request. I remember the first call very well - I spoke with a lovely gracious office administrator, who ensured that my request was managed well. An onsite assessment was done very quickly and then the work was executed soon after, exactly as planned, no muss no fuss, with a very high quality result. It was a pleasure doing business with this company; I am definitely a satisfied customer, and would definitely recommend this company. :-)

I ordered and purchased a custom made bed. I sometimes visit this store, because I just love everything they have chosen, and it inspires me. This is not a place to go when you just want furniture or stuff for your house. This store is for people who value creative beauty. There is so much care and quality in the selections, everything so interesting (solid wood furniture to leather, wall art/mirrors, lights). This is one of my very favourite stores. The bed I bought was perfect, and they delivered and installed with care. I am very happy with my purchase.

I visited this Rona a few months ago, for the first time. This is a big, beautiful store. Great customer experience, really interesting selections, and the value you know you can expect from a Rona.

From a customer service perspective, this Rona has great people. Unfortunately, this store is quite small, and they don't always have the selection or specifically what I am looking for. Currently, they are undergoing a massive renovation, and I am hoping that this aspect (selection) will improve. Because we prefer to shop Canadian when we can. 10 for Customer Service. 6 for selection in-store.

We visit this location of Home Depot on a very regular basis. We are happy to have this Home depot so close in proximity; everything from the good selection, to the regular sales and solid value for money, to the Customer Service personnel - from greeters, to specialty people, to cashiers, to customer service - everyone seems to be happy to be working at Home Depot, and they transfer this into a better customer experience.

Speers Flooring is the only place we visit for both ceramic/porcelain and also hardwood needs. The selection is quite good, and the price is fair and right. We have always been extremely pleased with the quality. For our hardwood floors especially, it was great to purchase from a Canadian company, who can stand behind their product, rather than a truckload event from a big box store. Product we ordered was delivered or ready exactly as expected. The staff is very knowledgeable and is more than able to provide solid advice and guidance from selection to installation, since we completed our own installation (though they do provide this service if needed.

I purchased custom size natural stone steps from Van Beek's. On one hand, they were even more beautiful than I anticipated. However, they took much longer than originally scheduled to arrive, two weeks turned into 6 or 7 weeks, and this was extremely frustrating. Van Beek's has a great person (Victoria) managing customers and orders, which is a great redeeming quality for this company. Another redeeming quality is that my new steps are so beautiful that I have forgotten about the long wait.

When the regular home improvement stores can't satisfy your needs, either for choice or for quality, it seems Holmar either has in stock, or can obtain, almost anything you want/need. I have visited Holmar on numerous occasions for both specialty products, for parts, and even honoring a replacement that was under warranty. They have always provided top-notch service. I highly recommend.

Our 50s bungalow had a facelift, but we still hadn't gotten around to the front porch yet. Anthony at Flawless Designs turned our old decrepit porch into a magnificent entry way with bana tile and 8 feet wide natural stone steps. The job was completed in 2 days, and the workmanship is perfect. I think the price was very fair. Two months later, I still am pleasantly surprised to arrive home and see our amazing porch. Modular created a 2nd floor addition for us with full stucco and stone facade to our old post-war home. Our home is now absolutely beautiful. The project ran like a dream: fast, efficient, great people, neat, clean, no inconvenience, no scope creep, no surprises, and stayed within planned budget. We stayed in our home the entire time. We went to work every day worry-free during the build, and came home every night to a notable exciting change. Our neighbours were amazed and delighted. This renovation project was a very positive experience, We would highly recommend this company! Special thanks to Dule, Dmitry, Rick. It was a pleasure! We love our new house. :-)

We needed stucco on our entire house: a brick bungalow with a new second floor addition. Sean and crew from Star Tech were amazing: hard-working, taking pride in quality workmanship, providing great attention to detail, with beautiful results in the end. Sean made sure that we understood what we were going to get, and was able to make professional suggestions when required. We receive so many compliments on our gorgeous house. We would definitely recommend this company!!!
