Associates think providing help consists of phoning someone to come to the department and then taking off. I kept being passed off to ´someone in the dept’ so often I felt like a baton in a relay race. This is useless ´help’. Final associate was rude and indifferent. Flipped his hand to indicate composite wood display and kept walking.

Our Clothes Dryer reached 'end of life' and we decided to upgrade rather than have it repaired. We went to the Oakville franchise of Home Depot as we had previous good service there. Contrary to misconceptions about lack of help at Big Box stores, the Staff at this outlet couldn't have been more informative or assisting.
They even 'Price Matched' for us (without being asked) to make sure we got the best Deal available. Delivery and removal of old Unit went smoothly too and the Appliance has lived up to our expectations.

We visit this location of Home Depot on a very regular basis. We are happy to have this Home depot so close in proximity; everything from the good selection, to the regular sales and solid value for money, to the Customer Service personnel - from greeters, to specialty people, to cashiers, to customer service - everyone seems to be happy to be working at Home Depot, and they transfer this into a better customer experience.

I have been purchasing materials here for years now. Most of the employees are friendly here and great to deal with. Some of the other locations around the GTA are much more likely to help you load materials into your truck then this location I have found.

grossly understaffed - self check out if a horrible way to do business. lack of employees in all departments. Should get a 20% discount on merchandise for finding it all myself and for checking myself out.

Its always good to compare the advertisment with what the actual cost is. If there is a discrpeancy call the manager you can usually get a discount if the ad appears misleading

I have always been pleased with Home Depot when shopping to do home improvement projects - they have everything you could possibly need, and the prices are very reasonable. Recently I went to Home Depot to get keys cut for my new car, however, and received poor service. To make a long story short, the service man was quite rude in explaining that because the key had a chip in it, he could not cut a new one (which I fully understand, as this is a complicated process) - when I tried to engage in a conversation about my options (i.e., other places to go, whether I could get a duplicate without the coded chip), he was again quite rude and sarcastic. I walked away feeling quite put-off by his tone and attitude. I will go back to Home Depot, but may have to develop a thicker skin if I intend to ask for any help!

I love going to the Home Depot and in this situation, I got to check out the newest entries in their Breckman faucets. I was impressed and bought them for my bathroom renovations. Top notch.

I had another (yes, another) great experience at Home Depot last week. I went in knowing very little about how to make my closet renovation work, and - with smiles on their faces - Home Depot walked me through how to get the job done (complete with drawings and demonstrations). They answered all my questions fairly and honestly, without making me feel like an amateur. The project worked out great!!
