Gas Lines for BBQ and Outdoor Heater
We are very pleased with Chrome Mechanical and I would recommend them to anyone looking for gas or HVAC work. Jeff was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He showed up on time, gave a fair price and did an incredible job. We will definitely be having him back for other work. Very refreshing - a contractor who actually takes pride in his work! Very pleased with the experience.
We initially met with SunLyte in 2007 time frame and they put shutters throughout our house. They are very nice guys and try hard but in the end I have some issues with the quality of their products. The door they installed for us is sagging and hitting the ground. I have contacted them several times and often they were too busy to respond. Eventually they told me that there is nothing they could do. After that, all of the pull bars turned yellow and they did a great job of replacing them (but had to glue them in place because apparently they didn't make shutters that way anymore - they were only 3 years old!). Now the frames are starting to turn yellow - it has only been 5 years. I would contact them but given the 2 year run around they gave me on the door and still never fixing it I am not going to bother. They will likely respond and tell the world via this forum that they are willing to help me but I have dozens of unanswered emails regarding our sagging door that prove otherwise. I did contact VinylTek about the 25 year warranty they offer and they were very rude and told me to deal with SunLyte.
I have used Convertible Air a few times over the years and I have always been extremely impressed. They installed a 1.5 ton AC unit in our first home and they were about $500 cheaper than everyone else and the unit was great! When we moved 5 years ago we called them back to install a 2.5 ton AC unit in our new place and the unit has been terrific. Sandy was great to deal with and gave us a variety of options to chose from making the buying process pretty easy. They showed up when they said they would, the finished on time and the craftsmanship was terrific. Would recommend them to anyone looking to stay cool :)
We are extremely impressed with Joe, John and the entire team at Solocrete. When we first met with Joe we wern't sure what we wanted. After walking the property and taking a few measurements Joe invited us up to his show room in Brampton and showed us an amazing plan. It was everything we were looking for and the attention to detail and functionality of what he designed was more than we could ask for. Solocrete put in a new front porch, front and rear steps, a driveway (5 feet wider than the existing one), a side walkway, two rear patios plus a 5 sided shed pad. It was a big job and I was a little nervous that they would be able to start and finish on time but they did it all in one week. These guys work hard. We take a lot of pride in our home and we wanted to make sure we received a quality job - and these guys delivered. It wasn't the lowest quote, it wasn't the highest quote, but similar to other reviews here I think we got a fair price and a beautiful job. We took a look at several of Solocrete's jobs before we signed on and they were all very impressive. Joe did my parents property as well as our former neighbours - nothing but quality work. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for concrete work! They are easy to work with, timely, and make sure you are happy with the finished product. We have been very pleased with Lee Sheds. I looked around and contacted several contractors regarding building a cabana and from the day I met with Lee I knew he was the contractor I wanted to deal with. He built us an amazing looking cabana and I constantly find myself looking out the back window at the cabana because it is so nice looking - he did an amazing job. The concrete pad we had poured by another contractor was off by an inch and Lee was able to adjust for it when he built the shed so you can't even tell. I am a bit of a perfectionist and I wanted to make sure this cabana looked impressive and I could not be more pleased. Quality work and a reasonable price! David from Oakville
