Cornerstone was recommended to us by friends. This is a family-owned and run business that takes great pride in its work. From start to finish Saverio LoMonaco and his crew were prompt, friendly, efficient and performed excellent work. There is still one part of the work to be completed (the laying of concrete to repair the pathway) because the work already completed requires time to settle. Other contractors might have proceeded only to produce problems up the road. I highly recommend Cornerstone.

Adobe was working on our neighbours backyard fence. We liked the thoroughness and care put into its building and asked Yvon (owner of Adobe) if he was available to build us a new fence. He was and did build us an excellent, cedar fence fully to code. His estimate was entirely accurate abd he took care to keep us updated about any problems and general progress. The fence cost $3300. We then asked Yvon if he could re-build our back deck. Similarly, he provided a fully costed estimate for a deck built to our design - actually 2 estimates: one using cedar, the other treated wood. We opted for cedar. His work was excellent and there were no surprise costs. He completed a beautiful, solidly built deck on time and on budget ($11,700). Yvon is both an excellent builder and an honest, hardworking contractor. He is reliable and kept in touch with us for every step of the project. We would highly recommend him. - that is, Adobe contracting.

We had a leak in the connection between our dishwasher’s drain hose and the main drain plus a leak in the trap. Bill came out from Drain Domain. He quickly assessed the situation, left to buy a couple of parts and, on return, quickly and efficiently completed the repair. He also stayed to ensure the leaks were repaired. Of note, he was masked and told us he was fully vaccinated including a booster. We highly recommend Drain Domain.

This is an excellent, local, family-owned business. From start to finish the crew and owner were prompt, friendly, hard-working and diligent. We had our entire roof replaced (sloping shingle and flat roof). The quality of the work was excellent and we were provided photos of the stages of the work and the finished product. In addition, the final invoice matched the original estimate, thus no surprises. The owner worked with us all the way and always responded to Emails. Payment methods are also flexible. Last night we had a terrific thunderstorm and downpour - result: no leaks or dripping onto the porch or deck or drips running down the side walls. Without any reservation we endorse and recommend this thoroughly professional company.

We contacted Utes to provide a structural assessment of our east Toronto, semi-detached home’s 34 year old, 2nd storey extension. The Utes structural engineer promptly scheduled an appointment, conducted a thorough, on-site assessment of the extension including both its interior and exterior condition with particular attention to the foundation footings. Utes provided a preliminary verbal opinion at the time of the visit and followed up with an excellent, detailed, written report that included recommendations and professional stamp within a week of the on-site visit. Before finalizing the report Utes provided us with a draft for comment. Utes was completely professional in their conduct, observed all COVID19 protocols, and were friendly, open and polite. Payment was easily made in two instalments by eTransfer. We highly recommend Utes.
