Not quite the end of the summer but close enough to still need the air,, we found ourselves babying our central air unit,,and dogging it along with a few prayers between starts. We appear to have been lucky enough to find Ray Linklater and crew from Gaslink complete home services . After learning about Rays background in the business working for places like RVH Hospital etc until branching out on his own to do or die in this competitive business . From my experience i would have to say that he made a wise choice and seems to be on the right path to bringing Barrie and other locals some of the best service and competitive pricing . He arrived on time as promised, and his prices were very good with no extra nickle or dimming extras .. The fellas were very clean, with drop sheets on the floors to the basement, all electrical hook ups to code and within a few hours the house was chillen down once again. if anyone is looking for a good and fairly priced installer of hvac products or other home services i would recommend them highly,, it was a pleasure having them in my home with no worries from start to finish everything was explained in detail and all paper work, ( warranties etc were filled out and registered with the manufacturer promptly by his wife and office manager Kristy ) Good job guys,, im sure we ll do business again, The deal and the service was so enjoyable that we had the furnace replaced the following week,, once again a job well done with minimal pain to the wallet compared to others . Big or small they do them all,,, there is a price range that fits your budget,

My hat has always gone off to the crew of techs that work for yanch reliance home comfort. As usual they were quick to come, new exactly what they needed to bring to fix it and kept their promises of time of appointment, and heads up call before they arrived,, Our latest service was taken care of by Mark C. He was prompt , polite , clean and executed his task with due diligence and total professionalism. The industry needs more people like him . I would gladly trust him to service my equipment again,. He was a true surgeon, first setting us at ease that he could be trusted, allowing us to ask questions and explaining anything he felt might make us uncomfortable about the whole process. He explained that if we had not noticed the leak issue things could have been much harder to deal with, and surely a lot messier. He seems to take pride in doing a good job and deserves to be appreciated by his employer

With all the competition and everyone saying that their product is the next best thing to sliced bread its difficult to choose just where to buy and whether you are getting all the bang for your buck.. I have found that after listening to all the sales pitches from numerous sales people all trying to feed their families that my money was well spent at Mattressland,at 511 Welham rd, in the South end of Barrie,, Its not a huge store but niether was the price,, A good selection of different sizes, firmness, and and price from economy up to plush and ready for the fussiest of sleepers,, Looked at high end with the assumption the more you pay the more you get,, Its not always true,,Some of us can sleep on clotheslines, After chating with the owner it was clear he was not set on selling me the most expensive set in the store, nor was i willing to buy without getting a deal,,I quickly felt that i was not being rushed and was given full reighn of the store. no pressure salesmen here,, Not only did i get a good deal but was offered a free cover and pillow cases to boot,, It was a pleasure dealing with the staff and the delivery guys were great too,,polite and careful,, Id say it was an overall good shopping experience,, Will most likely go there for my next bed.. Theve been at it a while and i immagine they will be for some time..

For good quailty and superior service i reccommend THE DOOR GUYS,, They are local boys that understand what service is about,, They carry good brand name doors, competitavly priced and take pride in there work and complete it in a timely manner. upon compeltion of the door install and emergency key release they even recommended another fella to cap the outside of the door with aluminium to protect further from the elements and make the garage look that much better for a minimal fee,,Our home looks much nicer from the street now,,and is much warmer with the insulated door, I have an electric door opener which they also hooked up for me to the new door, and installed a door minder that flashes a light inside the house to let me know when i have forgotten to close the door,, (a cialis moment as my son calls it) hehe,, It was a pleasure doing business with these guys and would recommend them as have quite a few of my neighbors had their doors done since seeing mine.. Keep up the good work guys,, we see you driving around town still so you must be doing something right,,

having an older furnace in a 16 year old home we were glad to find that it does pay to carry a protection plan with Reliance Home comfort, Thinking that the blower motor had given up on us i called Reliance Yanch to see what was involved in process to get us up and running agian, After a pleasant chat with Kyle he listened to my senario and thoughts of what i thought it might be and then assured me that a tech would have a closer look at the problem,,The tech arrived at the time promissed (fast) and after some diagnostic magic (mark) had the problem pegged as a deffective circuit board,,I was worried that parts might not be available for an older furnace and was going to be pushed to buy a new furnace,, but not doing, someone managed to find one and assured me it would be here the very next morning, Kyle called back to say he would have me first call in the morning and as promised (Dan) showed up at 805,, Kyle said between 8 and 9 I was starting to feel like someone special,, The tech (Dan) knew exactly what to do and even made some minor tweaks to the system to make it work that much better,, With all the badmouthing that goes on in the trades and some which is very warranted, it is our right to voice our opinions and demand what we are due but it seems too many good deeds and jobs well done go unrewarded,,To this point i feel the staff and techs at Reliance Yanch that i have dealt with thus far have been profressional and pleasure to deal with,, very polite, knowledgeable, and respectful of my needs and concerns,, Kyle, Mark, Dan.. hats off to you, for making me a believer in the service trades,, Till you prove me wrong i will continue to put my trust in your service,, There are still some that give credit where credit is due, You employer should be proud of you all.
