Our home had a series of electrical repairs and improvements required that Kia completed including: - convert fuse box to circuit breaker - installation of GFCI plugs in the bathrooms, - rewiring 9 outlets that were hot/neutral reversed, - fixing a kitchen outlet that did not work, - replacing pot lights that had transformers to LED, - adding additional light switch to front of garage - pool heater electrical cord casing When we called Kia he was very responsive, friendly and made us feel at ease when he came to provide us a quote. Once details were arranged he was punctual on the day of work and explained the progress on the work that he was doing including removing a cupboard from our basement to access the master power switch which he then reinstalled. All of the work that Kia did was clean and we are 100% pleased with the quality of his work and level of customer service.

We have been using swim clean pool service for the past three seasons and Alex and his team provide the best service and very competitive rates. Alex converted my pool to a salt water system and in doing so also updated outdated piping. When my pool pump broke last season, Alex leveraged his network to find a replacement that another client was selling to help me save some money and also guaranteed it for an additional year to match the warranty of a brand new pump. Simply put Adrian was terrific. We had RG59 cabling in two of our bedrooms and I called Techsystem to get a quote on installing cable into 2 other bedrooms and Ethernet in 1 bedroom. Adrian was extremely responsive and was prompt in scheduling a time to perform an assessment and quote. Adrian was thorough in his assessment and provided his recommendations for fishing cable from the basement and through the attic as well as best type of cabling and Ethernet to install. He explained the approach that he would take, the time required and costs. Adrian was punctual, thorough and very organized. During the time that Adrian was there he advised on what he was doing throughout and answered any questions that I had. Based on his recommendation Adrian upgraded the existing cable from RG59 to RG6 which is better for digital TV as well as the Ethernet from Cat 5 to cat 6 which is better for internet speed. As part of installing these upgrades Adrian also rerouted the existing phone lines at no additional costs from the basement to the main floor making it easier to access everything. We spent a lot of time trying to find a roofing company to install 2 bathroom vents for our home and had many companies not respond or after providing an initial estimate on the phone not be available for actual booking. After paying $150 for an onsite "customized" report by Mr. Roof Repair (http://homestars.com/companies/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&search_text=mr.+roof+repair&search%5Bcategory_id%5D=) and being disappointed by the subsequent outrageous quote provided (3x higher than any other quote) we found Super Roof Repair and was pleasantly surprised. Shay was extremely responsive from the outset and provided a no-hassle, no obligation quote for the job required. He took the time to go into the attic prior to quoting (unlike Mr. Roof Repair) and also explained the process that his team would go through step by step. After the job was completed, Shay came by to review the report that was created for the work done and based on some concerns that I had came by an additional time with Richard to reinspect and confirm that everything was completed to my satisfaction. The most impressive aspect of this service experience was that Shay refused to accept final payment until there was full confirmation that the job was done correctly. The best advice I have for anyone is to avoid companies that charge a price come out to give a quote and offer it off the price if you choose to go with them or mention that you get a personalized (cookie-cutter template) report. Having read horror stories about unprofessional companies it was comforting to work with Kevin at Wildlife Removal & Pest Control. Kevin was extremely professional, personable, kind and understanding towards our concerns of having pests in our home. Kevin was punctual and took the time to explain the process that he does and how it works. He placed rodenticide in key areas throughout the house and spayed the entire house for pests. Since Kevin has come we have been pest free and not had any more issues,. Customer Service Excellence!!! I read numerous reviews on HomeStars about the Duct Cleaning Specialists and decided to email to find out more details and request service. First off, Paul was extremely responsive in getting back to me, answering all of my questions and emailing me a reference of the quote. Paul also gave me a courtesy call on the day prior to my scheduled appointment to ensure that everything was still planned on their end. Matt and Steve arrived punctually and instantly demonstrated a high degree of professionalism by showing me a binder of their company protocols and standards as well as reviewing the service that I had arranged with Paul. They took their time to explain what they were doing, the tools and instruments that they were using and also educated me on areas of potential concern that I should be mindful of based on their knowledge and expertise (potential fire code risks on older humidifier duct material). The two major things that amazed me after the service was completed was how much lint had been in the dryer vent and how much more heat I was able to feel in different rooms of my house that typically were cooler. There are not enough words we can say about Ramiro. We purchased an older home with tiles that had not been cleaned for many years. Ramiro arrived at our home promptly and ready to get the job done.
