Joe Reynolds was dispatched to handle my job, and I was not disappointed by his skill and efficiency. Joe was professional, polite and nice to deal with. He completed the job quickly and efficiently. Tony and his crew did an amazing job transforming an uninsulated, dated and deteriorating home into a comfortable, inviting and energy-efficient residence, complete with updated wiring, plumbing and most importantly, foam insulation over standard fibreglass insulation, which he graciously substituted at no additional cost from his quote! Tony was the first of a handful of contractors to reply to my request for a quote, and he was upfront, honest and forthright of what his services could provide. He was always available to answer any questions that I had, even prior to hiring him, and it also helped that I was able to contact his references to make my decision. Tony won my job because he listened to what my needs were and did not try to upsell or make promises that would compromise the structural layout of my home that would incur additional expense; he worked within my budget and did not make promises that he could not fulfill. He also accommodated my need to remain in my home while renovations took place, so that was a bonus that other contractors would not agree to. Also, he and his crew were always respectful, polite and professional in my dealings with them. The crew showed up every day on time and worked very hard and diligently for 2¬ ½ months; Edi did an amazing job from framing the walls to laying a herringbone backsplash in my kitchen – No easy feat for less experienced trades people. What is important to note is that if you are comfortable choosing your own flooring, finishes and colours, Tony has many contacts with whom to choose from, without the need to hire an interior designer. I’m by no means a person who has an eye for design, but I was able to put together a tasteful décor that all the trades people who worked on my home loved. Once the job was finished, any deficiencies were taken care of in a timely manner; no questions asked. The only downside is that the electrical outlet in the bathroom is placed too far from the sink, making it awkward for appliances to plug into and having to place the towel bar higher than it is comfortable for me to reach; these will need to be relocated in the future. Based on the scope of work that was done, renovations done on both the main and second floors, I highly recommend Tony and his crew for your home renovations.

I'm very happy with the results. Mark did a fantastic job. He was thorough, respectful of my property, patient and polite. He showed me before and after pictures of my ducts and finished the job on time. I also appreciate that they could accommodate my schedule and pleased of the quality results Overall, I am glad that I hired Dave's Ducts: don't fall for cheap deals on duct cleaning. You'll get what you paid for.

Furnace wasn't able to cool home. An appointment was scheduled asap and Gracjan (the HVAC technician) responded to confirm appointment. He arrived on time, was professional, respectful, troubleshooted and solved my problem (clogged hose) quickly, and gave me options as to whether or not upgrade my 25 year-old furnace. No upsell or b.s., straightforward and no-nonsense advice. I've been their customer for over 20 years now and have never had any negative experiences with them.

What a great team of hard-working employees! They completed the job in 3 days, instead of an estimated 7 days!! Alex and Jerry were awesome to deal with. Professional, prompt, courteous, respectful, responsible, accountable and above all, honest to a T. Alex was forthright and didn't push any upsells on sump pumps that would have been a waste of money for me. Their quality of work even impressed my renovator, who remarked on how clean and neat the job was. Alex's crew cleaned up everyday before they left and Alex was very quick, attentive and accommodating to any questions or concerns that I had about the work. Alex and Jerry even went above and beyond to replace a concrete laundry tub and plumbing that were damaged somehow during the excavation (it wasn't their fault - the laundry tub and plumbing pre-date historic times). Impressive! I really love their honesty and work ethic! Can't express enough how great this company is! It goes to show that you don't need fancy brochures, branded vehicles, and sales people to do a great job at a reasonable price. I am so glad that I hired his services. Robert was the only company that responded to my request for asbestos tile removal. He called me right away, arrived promptly for our appointment, gave me no-nonsense, straight-up advice on what needed to be done, and the job was scheduled and completed in a very short period of time. Dave, the lead technician and his crew finished the task within a couple of hours! Industrial fans dried my basement and filtered out any minute particulate matter to enable a safe work environment for the renovators. The basement was immaculate and clean. I highly recommend this company!!

Aldo was the first to respond to my request, gave me the best quote for my job and is both courteous and knowledgeable with many years in the business. Aldo knew exactly what needed to be done and was able to schedule my job in quickly. He, Valant, Joe, and Alonzo a great job. Everything was effortless and quick to them - they are all courteous, respectful, professional and hardworking people. I love my new garage door - it opens and closes silently, it's completely sealed off from the elements and pests, and it was a positive experience overall for both me and his tradespeople. I highly recommend Aldo and his team of professionals.

Hoerner Plumbing runs a smooth operation, from their call center to page on-call staff, extending to the courteous, professional office staff and plumbers, reassuring anxious customers like me that my problem(s) will be remedied promptly. Recently, I had Mike, Brad & Calvin work on two separate jobs for me, and at all times they have been respectful, courteous and thorough in the tasks that they undertook. Mike replaced a 46-year old main shutoff valve that was starting to leak, and he also installed a new piece of pipe that increased the water pressure phenomenally! Brad replaced a leaky water tank drain valve at first, which then led to the thermostat control being replaced as well, which had coincidentally failed to operate upon turning it back on. A new control panel had to be ordered, which came the next day and upon installation, failed to operate, even though the pilot light was on, but gas delivery to the tank was very weak. Brad then took the time to troubleshoot everything possible to locate the cause of failure (the gas valve would not engage). After he found the cause of the problem, I was very relieved to have hot water again. Even Brad said that he learned something knew from this experience (something had blocked the gas intake pipe). Brad then conducted an ohms test on the old control panel, and found that it was on the verge of needing replacement, anyway. I've learned that the guys are actively engaged in continuing education, which is good to know, as they use this newly acquired knowledge to apply this to their work and to educate their customers with. Overall, I'm happy with the services that they provide. They are diligent, knowledgeable, resourceful in finding solutions to plumbing problems, and actively engaged in continuous learning, which is reassuring to me, knowing that I'm dealing with knowledgeable professionals. As the saying goes, "education is the key to knowledge." Thanks again, everyone!

Efficient, honest, reliable and hard-working! Mark came by promptly to give me a quote that was very reasonable and was quick to respond to any questions/concerns that I had. Marcin & his crew shingled both roofs in one day! He made sure everything was done properly & safely, with safety signage in place to warn pedestrians. Marcin provided guidance and supervision to his crew during and towards the completion of the job, to ensure the job was done to spec. They did leave quite a few roofing nails behind in the garage eaves troughs though, so that was the only negative point for this job. Any minor details that could not be completed that day was completed the next day. They did a professional installation, cleaned up my property thoroughly, and worked efficiently, which made me a very happy customer. I think they did a great job and do not hesitate to recommend this company to others.

The website gallery also was of great help in helping me choose a style - so many nice styles to choose from! The workmanship, craftsmanship and quality materials that were used throughout were excellent. His team did a fantastic job with the installation: they worked quickly & efficiently, they were polite, professional and respected my property. My new railings are solid, sturdy, safe and will last for many years to come. I received excellent value for my money.

Kyle and Calvin replaced a 45-year old drain pipe which was clogged with tree roots. Both arrived early and completed the job within the day, with minimal mess. I was impressed at how the excavation site looked hardly touched. They even did a camera inspection & pointed out that the city's connection was clogged & had to be taken care of immediately. The job site was left tidy; they welcomed any questions that I had about the job, ensured that all work was done properly, and were polite & respectful at all times. I am very pleased with the quality of work that was done by them.

My basement drain was clogged with tree roots. I received a prompt callback the next morning & was able to get service the same day. Kyle and Felix were prompt, professional, courteous, polite, respectful & knowledgeable. They worked hard and efficiently to resolve my problem. Arif and his assistant did an amazing job revitalizing all the wood trim, by caulking, patching & painting all windows & trim due to years of neglect from the original owner. They were quick, professional & courteous. Nancy & Sohail made sure that I was happy before signing off. Enquire about their tree planting program! Love it!

Gennadiy was the only company to respond to my call out of 3 other eavestrough companies that were were rated a 10 on HomeStars. He was prompt, courteous & professional. It was a small job but it didn't matter to him.

Got coupon off WagJag for $78 to clean ducts including 12 registers. Ducts (include fresh air & return supply vents), ducts cleaned out nicely; however, spent the next 4 hours vacuuming, dusting, washing floors, laundry & shampooing carpets because vents weren't covered & fine dirt, dust, drywall bits, etc. spewed back into EVERY room and covered EVERYTHING. No disposable overshoes worn upon entry to home; wanted to charge extra to clean out dryer duct (I didn't ask for that service), pushed to sell expensive furnace filter; however, they were prompt. Coupon wasn't worth the extra 4 hours of cleaning I had to do afterwards. My home was NOT left TIDY & clean after this service. Homeowners: Make sure you remove or store anything that is exposed; otherwise, you risk the headache of either throwing out or washing anything that you may be consuming or using & spending hours cleaning as well. Also,ask if disposable overshoes will be worn and if vents are covered during the cleaning. What a nightmare.

Made an appt. for White Shark to come by mid-July to clean out eavestroughs. Normally, they would leave the debris in a paper waste bag to show that the work had been done. This year, no bag and my eavestroughs seem to be seeping rain through the troughs. Not sure if I can trust them this time around & will research others for reliability and service.

Stay away from this guy; hired him about 5-7 years ago, wish this website existed back then. I had downspouts installed on house and garage that drained towards the house instead of away (they didn`t bother checking where the property sloped); `fixed`crumbling concrete steps with patch & parging, but work deteriorated the following year (steps should`ve been torn down & built from scratch instead); put in ventilation caps on house roof (when it didn`t need them); Got yelled at by proprietor when I dared to question him; demanded post-dated cheques in advance of incompleted jobs. Wood siding on garage painted but not primed before painting. Garage paint has long peeled off, steps crumbing & in very bad shape, had downspout removed from house.

I'll say it once and say it again - really enjoyed dealing with Brian and Steve - pleasant, professional, courteous - great guys! Took care of removing all the junk from my property FAST!!! Great service!!
