Unfortunately my recent experiences with Dr. Green Service have led me to want to share the details with the Internet. After 4 years of excellent service by Dr. Green, service began to decline. We were no longer satisfied with the appearance of our lawn. We gave them another year of loyal patronage (this was the first year I declined to prepay in advance for our service). In the fall of 2013, our fees were paid and that year of services were complete. We received a call offering a discount to prepay for the upcoming years of service. I advised the male caller at this time, that I was not interested in receiving service the following year. In the spring of 2014, Dr. Green began to service my lawn. Upon completion of their service, they place an invoice in our mailbox describing what they completed that day and the amount owing. They visited approximately 2 more times in the spring. In June I called, advised them that I cancelled my service the prior year and they had been visiting this year. I advised that I wasn’t happy that I had continued to receive service after I cancelled, but I would pay them for the services rendered so far as I didn’t immediately call after they realized they were still making service calls. On June 19, 2014, I paid $263.49 to Dr. Green Services via Internet banking. On the morning of July 23, 2014 my husband observed Dr. Green Services pull up in front of our house. He approached the vehicle and inquired as to which house they were providing service for. They indicated it was our house. My husband advised them that we had cancelled this service 2X and we did not want their service. They apologized and left. My husband called Dr. Green and advised them yet again that we did not want any continued service. During this call, my husband insisted that the individual that he was speaking with send an email confirming that we had cancelled our service and that we did not have any balance owing. On July 23, 2014 we received an email from Julie M, a Customer Service Senior Representative. In the email she states: “As per your request, your account with Doctor Green Services has been cancelled. There is a zero balance owing.” Since that email, we have received frequent calls from the billing department, as well as a statement billing us $55.90. This $55.90 was charged for the visit that my husband physically declined. So no services rendered. Not to beat a dead horse, however these services were declined over a month after I cancelled our services for the second time! During our repeated phone conversations in which we outline the above to them, we are told to call the customer service department. It is pretty disappointing that a company would choose to harass a customer through repeated phone calls, sometimes twice daily, to collect funds that the billing department acknowledges we shouldn’t have to pay, instead of dealing with this internally.

Company Response

Hi Melissa, Sorry to hear that you canceled your services with Dr. Green after 4 years of good service. Unfortunately sales reps can not cancel accounts, only customer service. Please email me at pbrar@doctorgreen.com so I can look into your account regarding that balance.

My sister-in-law recommended Terry and his team of installers from Clera Windows and Doors to me after having some of their windows replaced. The service that we received was second to none. Terry and his team of installers were prompt and professional. Our windows were manufactured quickly and installed prior our expected installation date. One of our windows didn't seem to lock as nicely as the other windows that were installed. A quick call to Terry and he quickly came by and addressed the issue. The windows look fantastic and greatly increased the value of our home. I would gladly use Clera Window and Doors again!
