Switched over to AC, and our 10-year-old Goodmans started to freeze up during long runs with no cooling for two days in a row. I emailed Twintech for a service call out, and later that day, service tech Mitch called to arrange a call and was able to fit me in the same day. It was determined I had a leak as the refrigerant was low. I was advised I could repair or replace it, and I asked for quotes for both. Twintech called back the next day and spoke with Bob, who went over the costs of a new AC unit. Shortly after, Mitch called with the price for just replacing the evaporator coil. Due to the age of the rest of the system and after Mitch explained, a new unit like an Armstrong would be much quieter, as I was complaining our Goodmans were loud and vibrated into the house during use with a low level droning noise. We were leaning towards something new, so we decided to go with a new system. I spoke with Bob again, who went over some of my options for equipment and sizing for the unit. Bob explained that the Goodman unit we have is too big for the house. Bob also arranged to come over the same day to evaluate our system and make sure that was the best option for us. I did say I liked the fact that Mitch said the Armstrong was quiet, so Bob did up a final quote for the Armstrong. Bob also suggested we have an air return vent installed in the basement, and I agreed to the suggestion. I talked over the options with my wife and accepted the quote, and the next install date was early the following week. Greg arrived promptly on the morning of the installation and got to work straight away, removing old Goodmans. Grant also arrived to install the air return vent. They both worked efficiently and professionally, making sure not to leave behind any mess. They were constantly cleaning up the work area. Our concrete slab was also not level, so they lifted that and levelled everything up. The previous installers for the Goodmans didn't really do a tidy job; Twintech corrected the lines and made sure everything was installed to the proper standard. Around midday, the install was done, and the system fired up. What a difference! The Armstrong is super quiet, and there is no more droning noise, and I now have a hard time hearing the compressor start. No more noise or vibration in the house. Twintech did a great install. They have a great reputation, and I can see why. I cannot recommend them enough. I'm sure the furnace will go out one day, and I'm calling them to install the new one. After they left, you could not tell they had even been there. I was pleased with how professional the service was and the high level of installation I received. If you need any HVAC work or advice, just call them. Don't waste your time with others.

Thank you for this review. Unfortunately too many times homeowners get poor install standards and sometimes wrong size equipment, both lead to poor performance and comfort. We are happy that you now have those issues corrected and will now have many years of great performance and comfort. Thank you for choosing Twintech.

During the recent windstorm my roof was banging and I saw some small bits of shingle blown down, as the wind was blowing I contacted two roofers on HomeStars, Cutting Edge was the first to get back to me the other one took 3 days could not take any new work until Spring 2015!! Anyhow Robert was able to swing by quickly to look at the issue, we was not home at the time. Robert went up and checked out the roof, it was just a couple of tabs missing from around a vent, as he was up there he replaced them straight away. It was a very quick and easy job, he inspected my roof and my problem was sorted. He left me a voice message explaining what he did and what was repaired. Great service and Robert is a genuine nice guy. Great to deal with and would recommend his work to anyone with roofing troubles. Don't bother calling anyone else. UPDATE: When I called Robert back to arrange to pay him was kind enough to fix my issue for free, he said it took more time to put the ladder up than it was to fix and he said he took longer to get out to me than normal due to the increase in calls out for the recent storm. And it was just a couple of simple tabs needed replacing. Wow, Now that is service, when my roof does need replacing Robert will get the call, I have told everyone what great service Cutting Edge did for me. I was certainly not expecting that, not knowing what damage we had sustained it was very reassuring to have found superb service from a professional such as Robert.

After being in our home for six years with a broken not working humidifier from day one. It was time to get one installed we was around 10-20% humidity and it was so dry. Dry skin and static shock from various items around the home. Used Reliable in the past to fix our AC, contacted Reliable and was in touch with Rob via email, explained my problem and what we needed, I was able to arrange the entire job via email, that suited me better. He was able to install his recommend Honeywell unit that suited me best. He was on time and quickly set about removing and install the new unit. He checked over our furnace and made sure I was happy with the job he had done, explained everything to me as he was doing it. Very pleased. Great guy to deal with, knows what he's doing and was able to be me good advise. 24 hours latter we have double the humidity in the house, much better than before depending on the room we are seeing 30-40% humidity, very pleased with the results. Just wish I did it sooner, on a side note when Reliable fixed my AC two years before they advised me on a new humidifier but at the time I was using a small table top unit in the bedroom and didn't feel I needed one. If you thinking this then think again, reliable was right having a house unit is much better. No more static shocks and my wooden floor will thank me for it.

Very professional, sent email to them with my issue, they called very quick and was able to fit me, they called a few minutes before they arrived to say they was almost at my location. Enrico arrived and looked at the issue, he explained what he was doing and advised what should be done to fix my issues. He also looked over the electric panel and give me some advise about how a new panel maybe required down the road as mine is older and now full. He cleaned up after his work and check every thing to make sure I was ok with the work. He spent a good couple of hours going over the work and informing me what he was doing and why. Very good, will use again for my electrical needs, and when funds allow will have them back to upgrade my panel and also fit a bathroom fan

Andrew is a joy to work with we did the complete job via email which worked for me. Even down to the day of he was emailing me the time they will arrive. First contact Andrew to quote on trimming our tree, he quickly come out to asses the tree and give me a quote for trim and clean up. He was able to tell me lots of information regarding the tree condition and check the tree over for bugs. The tree was in the garden when we purchased the house and we didnt know much about it, Andrew was able to tell me all I needed to know about the tree down to how the leafs should be and what bugs may live on it. They arrived on time and Andrew along with his team was bringing down the dead branches and thinning out the tree. The guys on the ground cleaned up as they go and raked all the debris away. They give the garden the once over with the blower to finish the job. Andrew made sure I was happy with trim and would remove away any odd bits I didnt want over hanging the garden and deck. Very good job, will use Andrew again for my tree needs. Great price, very professional job and nice bloke to deal with. Very happy

Contacted John, VIA email and within a short time the same day he had called and spoke with us, he was able to swing by and look over the issues we had and had a quote to us that night. We had a couple of bad leaks and I was aware we need to replace it was over 30 years old and the house original, John looked over the issues and talked about option, we was interested in the leaf guard system but after John looked around he said we may not really need it. So we didn't, I was also about to install a rain barrel myself and was working out a way to custom some down pipe to be able to swap out the barrel during the winter months. John was able to tell us about the diverter he installs for rain barrels, not seen that before, that will save me some hassle. Perfect we shall take one. John was able to supply a rain barrel as well but I actually had one and he was happy to install my barrel for me at no charge with his diverter. John and his crew arrived the following week and was removing my old gutters in no time, John was busy cleaning and supervising as they worked. Within about four hours it was all done. The only thing left was the diverter it was on back order. John was able to install in a week or so later once he got one in for me. The install was great the do indeed use a level for everything, they didnt leave any mess. The fit and finish was great, I now have a hugh volume of water flowing out from the down pipes and away from my house, On an average rain fall the water barrel will fill in no time and now I can just switch the water direction away from the barrel with the diverter. Would use them again and recommend them to anyone that need an expert, John is that, he knows gutters. If your looking for someone try him first. Also the price was good, my friend next door has the same layout of gutters and would require the same amount he was quoted by another company almost $300 more than I paid.
