I posted a need for a washing machine repair on Home Stars. Adrian from TEK responded promptly and was able to come the next day. He fixed the washer and balanced it as a bonus. Then he looked at my Bosch range with the faulty hinges, took pics of the model info and got back to me in a few days regarding replacing the oven door (Bosch does not offer replacement hinges). He came by and replaced the door, which was a challenge, as the door was supplied in pieces. This young man is very focused on customer satisfaction, responds quickly and does not overcharge. He is also very observant of COVID protocols. I was very pleased and do not hesitate to recommend him highly.

These fellows were extremely polite and pleasant, and worked quickly and efficiently while observing all protocols for COVID safety. I immediately called my son and daughter in law and recommended that they use this company to get their dryer vent vacuumed out (they are new home owners). Very happy with this service, will definitely use again.

This company (specifically the team of Anna and Paula) has cleaned my home twice in a very satisfactory manner. I find the quality of cleaning excellent for a reasonable price. I do not hesitate to recommend them.

Ernie Wilkens and his team have worked for me in the past with superb results, so I did not hesitate to call them when my retaining wall required repair. They couldn't find bricks the right size, so they cut down bricks to match (perfectly!) and did not charge me for the extra labour. An honest and ethical company with very high standards - I would highly recommend them to anyone.

These people were a joy to work with! Office staff are very friendly and helpful, estimator was on time and thorough, and the "Steve Team" on moving day were the hardest working fellows EVER and literally came in $350 under the estimate because they worked so hard (and the estimate was already $600 under my last move two years ago with a VERY big name moving company). An added bonus is the ability to return the packing boxes you get from Bronte and get money back! I would recommend this company without hesitation! Quite the best move I have ever had.

I called Hi- Lite Electric after reading the reviews on this site as I had just moved in and knew no local electricians. I had 5 ceiling fixtures to be installed, two brand new celing fans and three chandeliers, one about 5 years old, one 20 years old and one a serious antique. Hi-Lite booked me for the next day and Tyler actually arrived early! He clearly explained the charges, looked at the fixtures and recommended not installing the two oldest ones until they could be rewired. He worked quickly and finished the work promptly and left not a speck of dust in his wake! The next day Hi-Lite provided me with the name of a company that rewires antique chandeliers. As a bonus, Tyler shared his concerns about the breaker panel and said it needed work and provided an estimate. Once the budget allows, I will definitely call Hi-Lite to do the panel.
