I first learned of High Tech Appliance Service through HomeStars. When my refrigerator stopped working, I decided to give High Tech a call. I had never dealt with the company before, but chose to place my trust in it given its high reviews. I am glad I did. The technician, Atiar, came to my home and worked hard to resolve my problem. When the first fix he attempted didn't work, he returned with a second possible fix. Happily, this one took. My refrigerator is now working, again. Atiar came to my home when he said he would. He was courteous and friendly. And he knew/knows what he is doing. I very much appreciate his perseverance and professionalism. Highly recommended!

I have used many window cleaning services over the years. What A View Window Cleaning is the best I have ever used. Responsive, professional, and courteous in their dealings and VERY thorough in the work that they do. They pay attention to detail and check and double check their work. A special thank you to Jason and Vaughan (who did the work) for a job REALLY WELL done!

I needed a small plumbing job done. Valentin, Strong Plumbing's principal and the person who came out to do the job, was responsive from the first text I sent to him. He was courteous and friendly and, importantly, he inspired confidence. His work was clean, efficient and good. I was (and am) so very pleased!

Kevin and Adel attended at my family member’s home to clean a sofa and loveseat. They arrived when they said they would. They worked cleanly, carefully and thoroughly. They answered all questions. It was a pleasure dealing with them…from the booking…to the clean-up…. We would use them again, for certain.

A few years ago, Otto's Masonry did some work at my parents' home. The work did not withstand the test of time--not because of the quality of the workmanship but because there were problems with some of the materials used (problems that Otto could not foresee). Rather than blame others, Otto took responsibility. He addressed the problems with professionalism and without ego. And so, we trusted him to do another job for my family. His mason, Joseph, recently built us a new front porch, steps and walkway. The workmanship is excellent. The price was fair. Joseph worked diligently, cleanly and with care. It was and continues to be a pleasure to deal with Otto's Masonry. High praise to Otto's Masonry and, in particular, Otto and Joseph.

Gitano Roofing replaced a roof for my family. From the start, the company (and those with whom we dealt: Lewis and Slavik in particular) were helpful, patient, responsive and responsible. They responded to questions with a smile, and quickly. They addressed small issues (with every job and every contractor there are always small issues) without ego and with care and concern. And their workmanship was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending Gitano Roofing.

My review of Ludwig Paving is a mixed one. Initially, we were pleased. The company provided us with a new driveway. The work was done in a timely manner. The pricing was not inexpensive but it was not unreasonable. We even referred customers to Ludwig. The warranty provided by Ludwig was only for one year. We weren't thrilled with the short warranty but we had no reason to think that we would have trouble with our driveway (our last driveway lasted decades, without cracking). Well...a little over the one-year mark...our driveway started to crack in three places with one crack being more than two feet long and branching out in all directions... We called the company repeatedly to ask for someone to come out to repair the cracks. After months of begging and many broken promises, someone finally came to our home. The cracks were blow torched but they were not repaired. The cracks remain and new cracks have developed. We have called the company and written the company and offered to pay for repairs (we don’t expect something for nothing) and the company has ignored us. It’s well and good to be responsive when you are soliciting a large job that pays well but what makes a company above average is when it stands behind its work and treats its customers with respect. The cracks in our driveway developed quickly. We shouldn’t have to beg Ludwig to repair them (particularly when are ready to pay); and, our calls and emails shouldn’t be ignored. This is NOT good customer service.
