I had many areas throughout my house where the hardwood floors made squeaks and crackles. I tried fixing a few areas on my own based on some youtube videos, but none worked. I was contemplating replacing the floors, when a google search led me to Squeak Knights. I decided to give them a shot. And I'm very glad I did. Lev showed up at the assessment appointment and carefully explained the process. We went throughout the house and marked all the places that required silencing (including a few stairs). Lev is very knowledgeable and patiently answered all my questions. Lev's crew showed up a few weeks later to do the work. They were careful, efficient and complete. They made sure that each spot squeaked or crackled no more. There were a few spots that especially annoyed me, and I would often walk around it. But now I walk over it with confidence and only hear silence. I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend Squeak Knights to silence your floors.

These guys exceeded my expectations. They came early and began work right away. Rimas's crew were friendly, professional and very diligent. They worked tirelessly for the whole day. I didn't realize how many spots there were to re-caulk (windows, doors, pipes, vents, etc.). They did them all and the results are fantastic. I would gladly use their services again, but thanks to them, I should be good for the next ten years. I highly recommend Vanguard Caulking.

It's been a few years since I had my driveway sealed. I recall the last time I did this, a guy happened to be in my neighbourhood and offered to seal my driveway. I agreed, and they quickly did the job with a spray in about 10 minutes or so. It looked fine but the colour faded and the coat wore off rather quickly . I had read on the net about the lower quality coats many use. I wanted to find the guys who would do a proper job. I found these guys on the net and requested a quote. I was emailed a detailed quote. I had several questions which I sent and promptly received answers to all my questions. They scheduled me in and arrived on the day they said they would. Greg and Jamie were both great guys and did a fantastic job. I had not expected them to pull the weeds out of the crack between the asphalt and concrete but they did. They used a wide brush to apply the coat and I was amazed at how much care they took. They were very careful not to touch any area but the driveway. They did not rush but rather worked diligently and did the job properly. Thanks guys, and see you in a few years.

We recently had washroom renovations done. During the reno, I noticed a lot of debris, including small pieces of cut tiles, falling into the vents. They had put plastic bags in the vents to catch the debris but many fell through. So naturally I decided to get the air ducts cleaned. The company I used a few years ago wasn't available on the date I wanted, so I searched homestars and found these guys. And I'm very happy I did. Shane arrived at the scheduled appointment right on time and was very courteous and friendly. He explained what he needed to do and was puzzled (as I was) why there weren't holes on some of the ducts near the furnace. It appears some ducts were never cleaned by the previous company. Anyway, Shane proceeded to clean the ducts and was soon joined by Rafael (apologies if name is spelled incorrectly). These guys were very respectful of my property and did their jobs very well. I'm glad I decided to clean the ducts, as there were much to be cleaned. Thanks for your help guys. I'll certainly use them again in a few years.

Andrew promptly responded to my email request for service. He came to my house the next day and looked at the dead tree I needed to cut down. He was friendly and easy to talk to. We agreed on a date for the work to be done. The team came when they said they would and began to work right away. They were friendly, careful and very efficient. They completed the work in no time and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. Thank you. I would not hesitate to call these guys again and highly recommend them.

A friend recommended this company to me and I’m glad he did. After contacting Michael we made arrangements for him to come in on a Saturday and give me an estimate to replace my garage door. He was pleasant to talk to and he went over the details of what needed to be done. He was very fair with the price and I decided to go with Smart Doors. We chose the door we wanted, placed our order and waited for the door to arrive. After about a week or so, we received a call from them to schedule a day to install the garage door. Yogev arrived on the scheduled appointment window and proceeded to work right away. He was friendly and professional. I mentioned the additional work I had arranged with Michael to replace the hangers holding the automatic door opener, and he said that it was no problem. This additional work extended the time required for him to complete the job but he had no complaints and did an excellent job. I was very happy with the job he did on the hangers. Yogev also did a great job on our new garage door. My old one had some rotting wood and did not fit very well as there were gaps here and there. My new door has no gaps and appears to be insulated very well. My experience with Michael and Yogev was great and I highly recommend this company.

I communicated with Rob through email and made an appointment for him to come and clean my eavestrough. Rob is a friendly and personable guy. He arrived on time and did a great job. I paid for the additional service of getting before and after pictures. Rob promptly emailed me the pictures on that same afternoon. What struck me about Rob was his honesty. I just assumed that I needed to clean the eavestrough every year. But when asked, Rob responded that for my house, once every three or four years would do. I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't take advantage for short term profit. I highly recommend Rob for your eavestrough and/or window cleaning.

This company has great reviews and now I understand why. Steve arrived at my house on time (actually he was a little early) and was ready to go. We went downstairs to the furnace room and right away he pointed out a couple of things that would make the furnace operate more efficiently and save me money. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. He was careful and respectful of my property. He was couteous and did a very thorough job. He even went beyond and did a few other things. I would not hesitate to use Steve again and highly recommend him and the company.

I purchased a home with an unfinished basement about a month ago and decided to hire a contractor to finish the basement before I move in. I obviously wanted someone who would do a great job, but I also needed someone who would complete the job on time. After several referrals and quotes I decided to go with Jay and his team. Jay is personable, trustworthy and hard working. He carefully prepared details of the work he would do and provided a very fair quote. Once hired, he began the job promptly and promised to finish the job by a certain date. Jay's team work on weekdays but if they fall behind schedule, they will work on the weekends to catch up. As promised they completed the work on time (in fact, they were two days early). After the work they cleaned up and took all the garbage away, leaving the brand new basement clean and bright. My wife, kids and I love our new basement. Jay and crew were a pleasure to work with and they did an amazing job. Not only did they do what they said they'd do, they went beyond and provided extra services that were not required. And they left a little housewarming gift and wished us well in our new home. We will definitely use him for all future contracting work, and I highly recommend him to all.

I recently purchased hardwood from this store and had them installed last Friday. I dealt with Richard Barclay at the store. Richard is a likable guy who is knowledgeable and provided great service. I spoke with him multiple times in person and over the phone, as I had many questions, and he answered all my questions to my satisfaction in a friendly manner. I would definitely recommend dealing with Richard at the store. The installers were Vitaly, Andrew and a third man, and they came to my house on time. They were scheduled for two days to pull out the existing carpet and install the hardwood in four rooms. They were professional and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to see how diligent and efficient they were in their work. They arrived at 9:30 in the morning and completed their work by 6:00pm. They cleaned up after themselves and left the rooms clean and shiny with my new hardwood. I definitely recommend these guys for your hardwood flooring needs.
