Disappointed with our experience
Unfortunately we regret the choice we made to have Vision Window, Door and Glazing Systems replace all of our windows. I like Aubrey - he was friendly and answered our questions. But we have been burned by: 1. He convinced us to get triple paned windows because it would be covered by the provincial rebate program 2. He did not help us apply for the rebate or inform us that an inspection needed to be done before any work was done - we should have known better, but I believe Aubry should have provided more guidance on this - we had our HVAC system replaced and the company for that walked us through the entire process to ensure we got the rebate 3. Our windows are nice, but several of them them are now showing water leak damage. Aubrey has deflected every attempt to help us with this issue - blaming the roof (that had no issues before we changed windows). We have confirmed the roof is not the cause. We've called many times and each time Aubry promises next week someone can come by - only for no one to show up (this has been going on for months). I hope Aubrey is well - I like him as a person, but regret we made such a large investment in his services. Vision Windows, Door & Glazing Systems has not honoured their work and warranty. We'll need to have another company re-do these installations, as this company doesn't stand by their work.

June 26, 2024 my installer did an inspection and just now I did send, Shaun his text report stating the caulking on the exterior was in good order. We use silicone caulking for the exterior of the windows, when properly applied we tool it too work tight to fit on the exterior. Water wasn't coming through our windows or through the caulking. Water flows downward! It could be the roof or though walls under the soffit or the eavestrough is full of leaves the water will find it's way through to the interior of the walls.
We supply a warranty for our installation only for where we install only, not for other components, unless our window installation was faulty, for which it wasn't. I inspected our original installation when I collected final payment which was completed as the detailed Scope of Work as our contract agreement!
