We had a truly great experience ordering and installing our new fiberglass front door with MD Doors and Steve. We had been shopping for our new front door for awhile and visited probably over ten different companies. For some reason, most of the places we visited did not offer solutions that would work for us, and sales reps showed little interest in what they considered to be a small project. When I called MasterGrain Doors, a local manufacturer of fiberglass doors, and asked who was their most trusted dealer, they told me that Steve from MD Doors is the best. They had known him for years, and that if he is not able to design a door system to your satisfaction then nobody else will. I am so glad that I made that call. The experience was very pleasant from the beginning. Steve is a very friendly, polite, and detail-oriented person. He provided us with a proper professional consultation, and was very good at meticulously explaining our options and all details, while always giving his honest opinion on whether specific things would work or not in our case. He invested his time, coming to our house twice, taking measurements, and bringing samples. He even photoshopped several pictures of our house with door designs that we were considering, to help us visualize the end result. Although there was a provincial lockdown, Steve managed to organize for us a visit to the factory showroom. He gave us all the time and attention we needed. When it came to costs, he was very transparent, with no hidden agenda and no pressure. After placing the order in February, we received our new door system in June, as expected. It is a high quality product, and it was installed by one of the best installers, Yuri (as we were told and as we had a chance to confirm this from our experience with him). Overall, it was an excellent experience. We love our new front door and recommend MD Doors and Steve.

When we decided to install floors in our basement, we visited Alliance Floor Source store in North York. There, we received an in-depth consultation from Timea, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered very nice looking vinyl planks from a huge selection of samples, and in just a few days all materials were delivered to the installation site. Thank you! But this is not all. A couple of days later, the contractor who was installing our floors unexpectedly quit. We called Timea, explained the situation, and asked if she could help. We couldn’t believe our luck when later that afternoon she called back saying that she was able to secure services of a professional installer, Matthew. Next morning, Matthew came early and got to work. He was fast and efficient and installed over 400 sq. ft. of floors and over 100 ft. of baseboard in just six hours, despite the tricky layout of our basement. The quality of his work deserves only high praise. People like Timea and Matthew really make a difference, and if you need new floors, look no further!

We had a very pleasant experience working with Jordan on our front door project. He is a very well organized, professional, and knowledgeable person. Unlike some other Sales Representatives who visited our house, Jordan came sharp on time and well prepared. He quickly understood what we were looking for, and then recommended a few designs that Nordik offers. No judgemental comments, no hidden agenda, just courtesy and truthful answers. Jordan then prepared an order on his laptop, being logged into the manufacturer’s system, and confidently went over many details, confirming with us what we wanted. It was quite an unusual experience. Later that week we decided to visit the showroom to look at other Nordik products and finalize the order. Jordan was very accommodating, and met us at the showroom on Saturday morning. We got answers to all our questions and overall it was a great experience. Changing the order the way we wanted was a breeze. If you are looking for a door from a solid manufacturer and be in control of what you are ordering – look no further!
