DCD gave our backyard a complete makeover. This is our second project with DCD and once again, they delivered a top quality result. The project included removing an entire lawn overrun with weeds, an old 4x8 raised garden bed, fixing improper drainage, laying down a new stone patio, building retaining walls along the fence line, and laying new sod and soil. We had some last-minute changes which they were able to accomodate with ease, requiring additional stone. Their attention to detail is second to none and you can tell their crew takes great pride and care in the work they perform. We have no reservations about recommending DCD to all our neighbours, friends and family and look forward to our next project with them.

Working with DCD to transform our front walkway has been a great pleasure. We already had an idea of what we wanted to do, and had approached several vendors with our plans. Camille was easily the most organized and responsive of all the vendors we contacted. She helped augment our vision with her design expertise, offering suitable options she knew would work well to achieve the look we were aiming for. The quote provided was very detailed, outlining exactly what we agreed to, and was always updated quickly whenever we altered our plans, as agreed. The whole sales process was very low-pressure - we spent a lot of time evaluating samples and options before ultimately deciding. The project itself comprised of porch capping, new stone steps, removing a dead lawn and bushes, grading and compacting a 12" base, installing pavers for the front walkway/driveway extension, a new partial walkway in the side yard, a long sleek low-profile garden bed along the walkway, connecting to a low-profile wall around a pre-existing tree. Delip and his crew worked tirelessly over 2 days to complete the project. We were very pleased with the result, as were our neighbours. The team worked very long hours to take advantage of the fine weather, and we were happy to have the work completed slightly ahead of schedule. There are some finishing touches DCD will be back to complete, on some backordered items, which we're looking forward to. DCD is also helping us source plants for our beautiful new garden bed, from their suppliers - once again helping to bring our vision to life. We highly recommend DCD for your landscaping projects, as the whole experience seemed more like a partnership rather than a contracting job.

Mark did a fantastic job running a new line for a dishwasher. His quote was fair and accurate, he showed up when he said he would, and completed the job within the timeframe estimated. This was a very smooth transaction and we will definitely use Green Planet again for future electrical work.

We contacted several electricians on HomeStars with respect to installing 2 globe pendants from a 17' high ceiling. Green Planet Electric's quote was not the lowest, nor the highest, it was - however - very very fair. He also accepts credit cards for payment (loyalty points!) and he asked pertinent questions about the job site. Mark arrived on time to take a closer look at the project, asked us about what was important to us with respect to the placement, spacing, etc and provided us with several options. It was a mini brainstorming session - we could tell he really wanted us to be aware of all of our options. When we arrived at an agreed-upon solution and pricing, Mark returned on time at a later scheduled date to complete the work. He took great care not to damage any of our property and laid down protective coverings over the work area. The entire process was very smooth and we will be using Mark for all of our future wiring needs and recommending him to everybody looking for a licensed electrician. He was punctual, polite and very professional. We could not be happier. Thanks for a great job Mark!

Every contact we've had with Blinds to Go in Whitby has been wonderful. During the initial consultation with Mathew, he walked us through the various product offerings and thoughtfully steered us away from using solar blinds in areas where we wanted complete privacy. We were pretty set on using solar blinds because we wanted to maintain lots of sunlight in our rooms but his advice made sense and he was able to find another product which offered comparable light transmission while providing 100% privacy. He provided several quotes in writing with various options hitting different price points and suggested we take the quotes away and think about it. No high pressure sales at all. We returned a week later to have Ashley schedule a final/accurate measurement of our windows and to book an installer. The final fulfillment of our order was carried out by Mariana who was very meticulous and patient in spelling out exactly what we were purchasing and how much each item cost. Perfect. The actual product itself is great quality at less than half the cost quoted from local big box stores for a similar product. The mechanisms are very smooth (we ordered both cordless Spring Rollers and regular Sidewinder Rollers) and the blinds material is top notch and has decent weight to it so they roll up evenly and don't waver much when there's a draft. We highly recommend this location for their service, product and price.

Todd was very responsive via Homestars messaging. He arrived bright and early on the day of the job (in Oshawa), cut the tree down to fence level and cleared out all the waste. He was very well-mannered and professional. The costs for his services were very fair. We would highly recommend Todd for any tree services.
