This is a small family run business with top of the line product that you will not find else where. I ordered my stove in August and was installed in September. Everything went smooth, the stove came in on time, installers came on time did good work , no mess or hidden costs. Carol was helpful with choosing the right product. I came in many times with questions and emailed with many more before buying. I always got a fast response and Carol went the extra mile to make sure everything was good.

I purchased new kitchen appliances from trail that included fridge, stove, and dish washer. Trevor the sales consultant was helpful in choosing what I needed and giving me the best price where I felt happy with my purchase. Everything I got was in stock so the only thing was set up a delivery date which they worked with me that the plumber would have the gas for the stove ready to go. The delivery came on time and they were careful not to damage my hard wood floors. This is the second set of appliances I bought from Trail do to their service. If I have a problem they have their own service technicians to repair it at a good price and from my experience they have the best delivery with no hidden costs.

I got loewen windows to replace a sealed unit from a round top window that failed. First this is the third time it as failed in twenty years while one unit should last that long. They should have the measurements on record from the last times they came out but did not. November it was ordered and Ross told me in six to eight weeks it would be installed but it took till May. Poor communication over winter and I was always at the back of the list. When it was installed the unit was smaller and they put a lot of silicone around to cover gap. They are willing to replace the window but I do not want them back.

I purchased Mirage engineered hardwood floor from Lakeview flooring at the end of November 2013. I was looking for quality hardwood at retailers and could not find anything I liked. The wear layer was thin where it looked like I was buying plywood and limited colour choice. Matt was my sales person who gave me the information about different flooring. Matt was helpful giving me samples and spending the time going through the different styles and manufacturers. I could see the difference in quality you get from Lakeview, you can sand the engineered hardwood 3 to 5 times compared to once if you are lucky from the box store. The floor has to be ordered in but only took two weeks and came on time. There seams to be hundred colours to select from, plus width , diameter and finish to make your floor custom. If you want lasting beautiful hardwood with friendly knowledgeable staff I would recommend Lakeview Flooring.

I talked with Skylight Concepts in mid April to get my Flashing redone on my Skylight. They did not want to out to take a look at the job instead wanted pictures. They sounded like they knew what they were talking about and ended up buying new skylight with new flashing for $2100. First they do not make an appointment when they come out it's when ever they feel like it. I wanted a day's notice I got a text in mid June we will be there in an hour. Two months waiting and they had the wrong colour flashing green roof with large brown flashing that looks like a patch job. Skylight concepts gave me a credit to make it right, I have no leaks. They will come back to make it right and will admit a mistake was done so better than most.

I was happy with the work and the report that was made up after wards. The sweeper came out on time and did not make a mess inside the house but outside did not use a bag to catch the ash at the T and did not clean it up. The work was done quickly, when I do it myself I take more time. I wanted it done yearly but always called me up in the middle of burning season even after I told them I would like it to be done between April September.
