We hired SG Contracting to finish our basement after having it underpinned (dug out). We are EXTREMELY impressed and happy with the quality of the finishing work and the attention to detail.
The scope of work included building and finishing a new bathroom, family room/TV area, storage room, utility room, office, wine cellar, new stairs, and heated floors throughout the basement. We also had some outdoor re-grading and interlock stone work done.
Soroush and his team are incredibly hard workers. They regularly worked very long hours to keep our project on schedule. Soroush made excellent suggestions throughout the project, such as making creative and efficient use of space in tight areas, modern design suggestions, type of materials selection for longevity, etc. Prices came in as quoted and Soroush kept us updated throughout the process. He even gave us FaceTime updates while we were travelling out of the country so that we could see the work as it progressed.
When you closely examine the small details like baseboards, caulking, tile cuts, corners, and other pieces of trim, you can see that the measurements, fit, and finishes are all precise. Soroush is clearly a perfectionist and this is reflected in his team's work.
