Our encounter with AMA Home Improvements was nothing short of a disaster. I had the main floor of my house gutted, new kitchen, 3 new bathrooms, full renovations project, which was a substantial undertaking. However, it became evident that the job was bigger than they could handle. They suddenly abandoned our project, leaving us with a litany of incomplete work, financial burdens, and immense frustration: 1. Painting was left undone. 2. Only half of the flooring was installed. 3. Drywall mudding and taping were unfinished. 4. Tiling and grouting were poorly executed. 5. Baseboards were crooked, uncaulked, and only half completed. To make matters worse, we had already paid for services that remained incomplete, and we were charged extra money for work that had already been paid for. The relentless pressure for cash payments by Gustavo and his wife Rose only added to our unsettling experience, raising doubts about their integrity and professionalism. What's particularly flagrant is the live electrical outlet that Gustavo concealed within the drywall. He also covered up the wiring for the dishwasher and we had to pull up the flooring (1/2 competed) and purchase more martial When we pleaded for resolution, he nonchalantly dismissed us, claiming he was already working on a new project, displaying a complete lack of accountability. Adding to our frustrations, we discovered deceptive photos on their website that falsely portrayed work supposedly completed on our property, such as the installation of a new patio door. This was completed by an outside door company. The job's final cost was double the initial quote due to the errors and shoddy workmanship that had to be rectified. Finding a new contractor willing to pick up the pieces took an extended amount of time, significantly delaying our move into our new home. In conclusion, we strongly recommend avoiding AMA Home Improvements. Their unprofessionalism, incomplete work, lack of integrity, and disregard for customer satisfaction and contractual obligations make them a contractor to steer clear of. I wasn't sure where to start. I had my engineered flooring put down by another company, and they could not finish the job. My house is over 100 years old, and they did not know how to lay the nosing down. They put square nosing when my staircase is round, and it really looked awkward. I contacted Tin, and he came promptly to look at the job. He knew exactly what to do. I had also called other companies, and all they said was good luck; we can't match the stain or make round nosing. Tin came and said it was simple; he knew exactly what to do. I was a little nervous because he did not explain how he would do it. He showed up the next day and put new round nosing that matched my existing hardwood flooring. He also installed new railings for my basement. He and his crew were very neat and tidy and cleaned up after the job. They were very respectful of my home and worked very efficiently. The same evening, he sent me pictures of the job, and I wanted him to make a change for me. He came back to my house and made the change without any issue. He said if I am happy, then he is happy. I highly recommend Team Hardwood. Don't be scared if he does not communicate a lot; he knows his trade and will do a beautiful job. I would recommend them to family and friends. Look no further! Hands down the best quality, fair pricing, and well done job you will find. Honest, reliable and he cares about the job he does and he cares about his clients. I have used Stephan and his team two times now and they did an excellent job at removing the old shingles and putting on new shingles on my roof. He also came very fast and got the job done quickly. No short cuts either no micromanaging. Then I needed a sky light repaired and he came and did an excellent job on that as well. You will be sooooo happy that you used Stephan - Well Done Roofing. I would run far away. He contacted me to fill my job request which was to upgrade all my outlets in my house. On the day we was booked to come he called and said he could not make it. I was having deck work done by another contractor and I need my outdoor outlet changed that day as it was holding up the completion of the deck work. I explained this to the Handyman. So he said he would come and change that outlet for me. He showed up and spent a 1/2 hr and just pulled the out let out of the way. He did not upgrade the outlet and additionally he secured it to the floor of the deck. It should have been put on the wall what happens when it rains. He said he would come back on Monday and put a new cover on the outlet and he insisted that I pay him $150 as that's what he min was. I needed other work done, which he would not stay and do. He promised he would come back. The next day he was due back he told e he was having care issues and could not make. Basically I paid $150 for nothing. Complete waist of money and time. I have now hired someone else to complete this job.

We needed a 2 decks completed and hard landscaping done at our house to prepare it for sale. Look no further these guys are the best. We contacted Kelly and send her a picture of what we wanted. Jose came out to see the project and provided us with an estimate. They came within a few days ( very hard to find someone who can come quick) They completed the works within 6 days.The quality. is very. high and the craftmenship is excellent. The workers were easy to communicate with. and very polite and they cleaned up at the end of the job. I have done plenty. of renovations and none have gone this smooth. I highly recommend Jose and Kelly. I would use them again and I would tell all my. friends.

Don't look any further this is the second time I have used Paul and his assistance. The first time he did the complete wiring for our entire home under new construction. The second time he helped with our city rental renovation. He thoughtfully looked over all the details of the job and walked me through all the work he was going to do. Re-wired my fridge,stove, installed new electrical outlets, pot lights, exhaust fan. He and his assistant were pleasant and very meticulous. They listened to what I wanted. (as a women they did not patronize ) They were extremely neat and tidy and cleaned up at the end of each day. Photos my apartment reno and new construction. I highly recommend using this company.

Very quick with good results will use again if required. Great communication on arrival time which is important to me.
