We discovered our basement flood drain was blocked. On clearing out some debris by hand we then found cement blocking the u-bend. I called Sergey and explained the issue. He quoted me for the power flush service and the other options if a power flush didn't work. He was clear, polite and patient and listened to what I was telling him. He came out the very next day with his crew to attempt a power flush to remove the blockage. Given its location and strength this failed. He then went through the other options with me again and we agreed to proceed with digging up a section of the basement floor to remove the blocked section of pipe. He hung plastic sheets up around the work site to keep everything clean, lay drop sheets around all the work areas, up the stairs, etc. and conducted his work in a manner that showed he really cared. Once the blocked section was removed he was able to show me the cement that had caused the blockage, along with a lot of other building rubble like pieces of tile that had been flushed down the drain (really??? I am amazed and annoyed at what builders pour down drains - tiles, cement...). He power flushed all the pipes, added a new u-bend to replace the removed section, filled the hole, tidied up and were done mid-afternoon. Sergey kept me informed throughout, was incredibly polite and friendly, focused on the job and issues at hand, and was very fair in his pricing for the job. I would have absolutely no problems recommending Tornado Plumbing to my friends, family, neighbors, etc. I only wish more companies conducted themselves so professionally. Thanks Sergey!

I reached out to Home Vision and several other suppliers to replace my eavestroughs, downspouts, fascia and install some new components too. I also asked if they could patch over where a squirrel had eaten through the boards before. With some of the other companies I got “we don’t do that”, “ you need a handyman”, etc which surprised me a little as I didn’t think the fix was too hard, it just wasn’t something I could do very easily. Anyway, Clay said no problem, he also listened to everything I wanted done and we discussed some of the options. When the quote got sent through, it was the only one of 5 that captured almost all that I’d asked for. It was an easy clarification and after that we were all set. I also liked that there was no hard sell for all sorts of other pieces like leaf guards but as I had enquired I was given an estimate of the additional cost. Once services were confirmed I was told 2-3 weeks depending on weather for installation. Well, as luck would have it two days later the installation was happening. Clay and his team were great, super friendly, did great work, asked questions as needed, explained things to me when I asked, and cleaned up the site. Overall, Oleg, Clay and team were competitively priced, superb to work with and I’d have no hesitation recommending them to family and friends. For those reading this, at least put them on your shortlist for a quote!

Reiner has taken the stress right out of the project, be it handling difficult neighbors, understanding our options and costs, and how best to deal with the adminstrative components. He is even helping us clear up issues that we have uncovered from a previous renovation much to our disgust (with the previous contractor). The people he has recommended have been excellent and we've had compliments from some of our suppliers even as to how pleasant and professional they all are. I could not recommend The Reno Coach more strongly.

Paul and his team take the meaning of client service to the level every customer dreams of but only very, very seldom ever gets. Honesty, integrity, friendly, thorough and quality would be some of the words I'd use to describe this team. They behaved just as they said they would on their website and more i.e. took shoes off, did a pre-work inspection, explained everything, turned up on time. The fact that our final bill came in well below the original quote was testament to the fact that they don't do more than you need, and then they also charged us less for the reduced service which is something that also very seldom happens. The worst part about the whole thing is that we don't need our ducts cleaned more often and therefore will miss out on working with such a great team on a more regular basis. You needn't look any further if you want your ducts cleaned - these guys were brilliant.
