Steven was very professional and kept to the agreed timeline and costs. He sat down to the review the plan in detail and make recommendations. He built us a beautiful show piece in the entrance way of our home. We love having a space for our coats, boots, hats, keys etc. I highly recommend Steven and his team!

Mike Scott helped us with our 1880's row house to waterproof our basement and pour a new floor. When I emailed via homestars looking for a quote, he was first one to respond. His pricing was fair and we felt confident in his experience. His guys were very polite, on time, and professional. I liked how Mike was on site regularly checking on the status to make sure the work was moving along and that we were happy with the progress. He returned all my calls quickly and even provided a mid project quote as we considered changing the scope of the project. He was patient with us as we put the project on hold for a week to consider underpinning or benching. He had all the required equipment to ensure the job was executed professional - they had bin on our narrow street and took it away at the end of each work day. I can certainly recommend Mike and would use him again for other similar projects.

We used Viktoria for our move and now that we have a reno underway asked them to move our basement items into their storage facility. Both times we had them pack and move for us. Staff were professional, prompt and good at their jobs. Maria, who makes the arrangements, is polite, quick to return messages and went out of her way to help us with a few odd requests like purchasing some moving mats for our reno. They provide great customer service.

Viktoria movers took care of everything. We did minimal packing in advance and kept living our lives in our home until the very last day. They came in and packed everything up in 1 day and then moved us the next. It felt like a very smooth process and I would highly recommend having them bring all of their own supplies. They had plenty of blankets for unpacking and wrapped all of our china carefully. We even kept the boxes for a few weeks afterwards as we organized our basement. They made a very stressful situation easy. Thank you!

Kirsten Marshall and her team were such a help to us. With a new baby and a renovation underway they put together all the drawings (we could just hand them to the contractor), helped us make sense of the process and cut out so much of my time running around to shops. Kirsten is unique in that she passes on her designer discount so she often paid her for services in the discounts received. We picked out lights for my entire house in 2 hours! That would have taken me weeks!

We installed AC plus cold air returns in our old (1880's) townhouse. It is 3 stories and they were able to figure out how to make the 3rd floor bedroom cold - it was a recent renovation to the attic. Tyler was our contact and was great - very responsive and good at offering solutions. He came by after we were having some trouble with air flow to explain our ducting and how to improve air pressure (no charge!). He knows how to provide good customer service.

Chris at Bax is incredibly responsive. He is always available via email or his cell. He helped us design our new kitchen and even had the cabinets repainted as a result of our heavy use within the first year. I found their prices reasonable - a little more than Ikea and much less than a cabinet shop. They can customize every corner and take care of the installation; worth the extra cost.
