I called Max early on a Sunday morning, and asked him to help me re-install the gas line to my barbeque. I had limited time to get this done, as we were hosting guests for a barbeque in the yard that afternoon. Max told me he would get to my place in an hour, and sure enough he was at my doorstep in no time ready to remedy the situation. I was worried I wouldn't get the assistance I needed given it was a Sunday, but I was lucky to have found Max. He is hardworking, customer-focused, and reliable. I look forward to using Max's service well into the future, and would recommend him to others without reservation.

We have so much praise for Denis and the work he delivers. There really aren't enough words to express how pleased we are with him and his team. And I should have prefaced my remarks by saying we’re rather scrupulous clients who are not easily impressed! We live in a Victorian home built in 1891. We take pride in the history of the house, so much so that we’ve made a point of preserving its character. We had to undergo an extensive gut renovation to the basement of the property, and hired Denis and his team to oversee the work. We laid out our desires and expectations—everything from ensuring the exposed beams were properly featured to working around transoms and wide baseboards—and they delivered an excellent product. We now call upon Denis to oversee every project in our home. Recently we asked him to install a new vanity, cover up some reinforcement beams in the front of the house, and have him slated to assist with a few other projects. Home maintenance is a lifelong endeavour. When you’ve found someone worth using for the long haul, that’s such a nice feeling! Denis is that contractor for us!

As far as home ownership goes, surprise emergencies are never fun to deal with! Finding expert contractors to help you get through such situations certainly mitigates the frustration. I woke up one morning to no hot water in my home. I thought I addressed the problem on my own, but the following day discovered the situation was worse than I thought. The hot water tank had to be replaced. Since I have tenants, the problem had to be addressed right away. I called a number of HVAC companies for assistance, secretly hoping someone from Hoerner was available to stop by given the companies reviews. I called and members of their team were booked for the day; 15 minutes after getting off the phone with a Hoerner representative, someone from the company called back and said they could fit me as another party had to reschedule. Within minutes of that phone call, Mike C. was at my doorstep. He assessed the situation and we agreed the tank needed to be replaced. I was worried it would take days before a new tank could be installed! Mike made a few phone calls and subsequent to his last conversation shared that a tank could be dropped off within an hour and the installation could happen same day! I was impressed by Mike's expertise, as well as his dedication to getting the job done. I was able to step away to complete business calls, and when I returned to the basement saw that the old tank had been removed (already whisked away by members of his team) and the new one in place. Mike was friendly, articulated what was happening with true finesse, and made the whole ordeal feel quick and painless. He represented Hoerner well! Full endorsements and recommendations from me, and I will be using Mike C. and the Hoerner team again!

It was clear, from our very first interaction with Nusite, that this is a company that exceeds client expectations. Gemil was our first point of contact, and did an exceptional job outlining the scope of the work. He even invited us to an active work site, so that we could see—firsthand—what Nusite would be doing to our basement. Subsequent to retaining Nusite, Gemil was always a phone call away and eager to provide quality service. The underpinning and waterproofing team, led by Martin, were tireless in their commitment to completing what was a daunting task. Our home was built in 1891, and always had a dirt crawlspace in the back area of the basement! The state of the dirt alone suggested the work would be demanding! Among other features that posed challenges, our home is landlocked; thus, the dirt had to be brought from the back of the basement to the front, and then shoveled through a small window to get it outside. Martin and his team worked diligently to excavate the space! Ryan is a first-rate service provided. Like any project of this scale, setbacks and challenges are going to surface. A costumer knows they are in good hands based on the way their service provider reacts to challenges that emerge. Anytime we had a problem, Ryan—and Gemil—leaped to be in touch with us to discuss. Even when we asked them tough questions or relayed our frustrations, we always had a calm voice of reason on the other end. Jennifer, one of their office administrators, was an absolute delight to interact with as well. This is a team that cares! I would, without pause, recommend Nusite. They are knowledgeable, and work very hard. This work is detailed and multi-layered; when I look back on what they completed for us, they made it look easy. Nusite is committed to delivering a product that is above industry standard.

We live in a century home in downtown Toronto (built in 1891). Renovation projects to these types of spaces can be rather demanding, but they are more demanding when the homeowners have extraordinarily specific requests. On December 26th, we woke up to the sound of water spraying wildly in our backyard. We, regretfully, did not turn off our outdoor pipes for the winter season; thus, the freezing temperatures caused this particular pipe to burst. Water ended up getting into the actual house, and made a bit of a mess in the basement. Rick Phillips of Mr. Rooter came to our home to address the issue. Rick takes the time to explain to the customer the cause of their plumbing-related problem, and he tells you how best to prevent the problem from happening again. He is incredibly insightful, and his two-dozen years of experience in the business tells you you're in good hands. An absolute pro, and an absolute pleasure to interact with.

Chris and his team are officially a means by which my partner and I assess "exceptional" service! Someone broke our dining room window in the middle of the night and gained entry. Naturally, when the police came and left our home, we knew we had to fix the broken window immediately. We called several companies, many claiming to have emergency service, and were getting the types of responses one never wants to hear when they're in an "unsettled" state of mind: "this may take 14 days", "we won't be able to come out until the end of the week". Believe it or not, some companies never even called us back after we left them a message about our needs! I called Chris and his team for service; they booked an appointment with me the following day to take measurements, and then they were back the day after that to install the new glass. We asked them to install glass that was difficult for anyone to break; they told us the type of glass that would be, sourced it, cut it, and installed it. The sourcing, cutting, and installation was done in 24 hours, and with a Victorian home that features incredibly unique window treatments, we were amazed that they were about to cut the frame of the window so accurately and install it with such precision. For anyone in need of window-related services, I wholeheartedly encourage you to call Chris and his team. They are courteous, professional, and very good at what they do. The turnaround time for our service was quick, their quote was affordable, and the finished product that they left us with is impeccable. I was so amazed by their deliverables that I asked them about other areas of the home that they service; we will be seeking out their services very soon for other home-related projects. When my partner and I saw a mud-tube coming out of our kitchen ceiling, we realized we had a problem on our hands... termites! After researching several companies, we called Waheed Ahmed at Pesticon and asked him to come over to assess the situation. He looked at the mud-tube and diagnosed it to be what we feared, but he assured us that the problem could be treated. Waheed came back to our residence and addressed the situation.
