Waterproofing Front Porch and Basement
To qualify for insurance renewal, the front porch had to be sloped away from the wall, and the basement behind the wall needed to be waterproofed and insulated; the drywall ceiling and wood panel wall needed to be replaced due to moisture intrusion. Over a month, Carbon’s crew removed interlock stone, poured new cement and waterproofed, leak tested before re-mortaring the interlock. Then, removed the water damaged drywall, paneling, waterproofing and wood before replacing, taping, sanding and painting. Now waiting for quote/scheduling on second drywall repair job on main floor ceiling.
