I cannot say enough great things about Rent a Son. From the time Hussein came to our door to the time we closed the door on our move, everything went extremely smoothly. Hussein was attentive to our requirements, and gave us a fair quote. Aslan and the crew were amazing! They were super attentive, hardworking, respectful, careful with our belongings and on time both days. In addition, the teams worked so well together it was an absolute pleasure dealing with them. Not one thing was broken and ours was a big move. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat. Thanks Rent a Son!!

Rivalda Oak Kitchens was recommended to us by a friend. We met with John and found him very accommodating and understood exactly what we were trying to accomplish. The job was done on time and on budget and we were very pleased with their responsiveness with respects to any corrections that needed to be made. We have had many compliments on the kitchen and we are very satisfied with the finished result.

I called Direct Energy to come out for our annual furnace cleaning. They sent a rookie. Within minutes, he had our furnace in pieces on the floor, red tagged it and called me downstairs to look at the 'crack'. The crack was miniscule and when I said that didn't look like a crack but a scratch, he took a metal file to it and started filing it. After insisting he stop (he was making it much worse than it was), I had him call his supervisor. An hour later, he was still waiting for his supervisor to call him back. After going back and forth, he finally said he was new and had just come off a course. Told me that all furnaces 'our age' had a crack in them - not true. His supervisor showed up 4 hours later and was very rude. This is late November and we are now without heat. The supervisor said he would send out a salesman the following morning to 'sell us a new furnace' No thanks. We called in three different suppliers who all agreed that this 'crack' was questionable but they could not put our furnace back together and turn back on the gas b/c Direct Energy had red-tagged it. So we were forced into buying a new furnace. We had also just signed up for Direct Energy's 'protection plan' which we would no longer need but they refused to cancel it. It took me three months to sort it out. Had to go to the top of the organization which took hours of my time but I wasn't going to let this go. Bottom line - got a new furnace from another company in Newmarket who are wonderful! The furnace has been installed for 3 years now and no problems. I also uninstalled the rental water heater that we had with Direct Energy and bought a new one that we own. Would never deal with Direct Energy again.

We had a horrible experience with another company who red-tagged our furnace (questionable according to 3 quotes). Once the furnace was in pieces on the floor, we had to make a decision. We called SR Gillis and owner Stan came out to the house. He was pleasant, very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable with our decision. His workers showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and we have been very satisfied with their work. We also had them install a new water heater for us - at a different time, again completely satisfied. Would highly recommend them.

We did a bathroom reno and Tulio was the plumber who did all the plumbing work. It involved, changing position of taps for tub from wall to tub mounted, moving the shower taps and shower head position, adding a second sink, moving pipes behind walls under vanity, installing new toilet and new fixtures. He worked quickly and showed up on time when he was needed. Hard to find these days. Have used him on more than one occasion and always satisfied.

I have nothing but good things to say about this supplier. The owner is very reasonable, gets product quickly had it delivered efficiently to our Newmarket address and when we had one small issue 3 years later with the drain cover in the shower, he got us a new one quickly and had someone deliver it to our home. They supplied us with a tub, shower base, toilet, custom vanity and all the plumbing fixtures. Would definitely deal with them again.
