After Galaxy successfully completed 10 windows 4 years ago (see earlier post), we invited them back again to quote on the remaining 8. Not surprising, Dmitri once again gave us great advice and a competitive quote for simliar triple pane windows as before, in addition to 2 double pane picture frame windows. They were installed yesterday, 3 weeks ahead of schedule. Once again Alex (with Igor this time) did another perfect installation, including interior wood trim. They even stopped to show me that they found some water damage on the exterior sheathing above one of the windows so I could have my roofer take a look for a cause. Thanks again to the Galaxy team! Great service from great guys.

After reading HomeStars reviews and working with another company to complete the design and obtain quotes, I signed on with Matt & Ryan in March 2021. The work was completed in late September. This was a few weeks later than originally planned but it was well worth the wait! Doing all the work themselves, in 2 weeks they transformed the front of our home. Both Matt & Ryan did exceptional work, were pleasant and patient with my questions and requests. I am very detail oriented and therefore have high expectations and they delivered. In addition to high quality work, they cleaned up well every day and kept me informed if they were not able to come due to the weather. They also altered their scheduled work to finish the driveway borders before the other work when my paving contractor wanted to come on the Saturday a couple days before they were going to be finished. As always, I reviewed HomeStars and came up with 3 companies to contact. In March 2021 I reached out to them all and Chris was the first to respond (within a day). He explained that he acts as Project Manager and designer now only, working with 4 other companies to do the work. We arranged a time for him to come by the next day and it did not take long before we knew we were in good hands. He makes you feel comfortable with his patient, knowledgeable and pressure free approach. He listened to what we wanted and answered all our questions. We also discussed design features and product options. That evening he prepared a design plan with a detailed description and sample photos. We approved it and he sent it off to the contractors to quote on our behalf. We received 2 quotes back (other 2 were booking for the following year which we were not interested in) and decided to make some changes but selected a contractor to secure a time slot given they were booking for August/September. Chris provided addresses of his projects for us to confirm ideas and products. After giving him more feedback he prepared several altered designs, met with us to review sample products (some of which he left for us to think about). After some more discussions we settled on a design and product selections and the new design was sent to the contractor to update their estimate. We received the estimate and ultimately signed a contract with the contractor (contractor pays Chris so we did not pay him anything). The work was completed by early October and Chris stopped by regularly to check on the progress and ensure we were pleased. In the end we could not be happier with the design, the work completed and the entire process with our new friend Chris. He was always very quick to respond and provide detailed replies which made everything go smooth. Initially I was unsure how things would go with a separate Project Manager but in the end it was the best way. He was able to spend considerable more time with us than what a contractor would have and he does the work of getting multiple quotes. I highly recommend Taylor Landscape Construction!! Thanks for everything Chris! UPDATE: In the Spring the stone looked as good as when it was placed (no settlement or unevenness). Although not part of the original scope, I invited Chris to return to help us select plants and design the layout. He quickly made time for us and even went to the nursery with us to pick out and purchase the best plants. We could not be happier with the outcome! Thanks again Chris!

My main contact was Moe (owner), and then Angelo (lead installer) and Dana (in office scheduling, invoicing and customer service). The entire team was professional, responsive and a pleasure to work with. It is clear customer service is a high priority for them and they know that these positive reviews drive their business. Moe responded promptly to my initial request for a quote and helped us choose the right layout and colour for 9 second storey potlights. He sent us images of the layout and lights to be installed along with the benefits/rationale. He patiently answered all our questions and provided a competitive price. He and Dana were always quick to respond on scheduling and follow up questions. They also followed up after to make sure we were completely happy. The install team lead by Angelo did a professional job. They were also very courteous, cleaned up and answered any questions we had. I would definitely recommend Quality Potlight. Dmitri helped us choose the right upgrade windows (Hometech triple pane casements), including 2 bay windows with siding between, all installed brick to brick with new wood trim inside (they give you the option of wood or vinyl). He clearly explained the benefits, rationale for recommended coatings and even had a small sample window for us to see and open/close. He patiently answered all our questions and provided a competitive price. He and Alex in the Head Office were always quick to respond on follow up questions and provided the necessary information before/after installation, plus questions to be answered to qualify for the GreenON rebate program. Dmitri was very clear that the vinyl shutters may not fit, but as a bonus the sizing was so close I was able to reinstall them (see photo)! Dmitri also came during installation for quality control checks. The install team of Alex and Vlad did an amazing job with finish of the windows on the inside and out (and I am very particular!). They were careful and worked very hard to complete the install in under 2 days. They were also very courteous, cleaned up everyday and answered any questions we had. So glad we had this quality team! I would definitely recommend Galaxy Windows using Hometech windows. We could not be happier with the windows, including their operation and efficiency. We do not even close the blinds during the day in the summer now as you can barely feel any heat being transmitted on sunny days...huge difference from before. After cleaning them, I noticed there were a couple of minor scratches on the glass and they simply said email us pictures and we will have Hometech replace the panes! Get other prices, but just make sure you including Galaxy as you will select them in the end. I will be calling them for the other windows in our home when the time comes.
