I decided to got tankless after my reliance contract finished. I received a removal number from Reliance for the tank removal. My tank was removed by the company installing the tankless. They have been trying to return my tank for 2 weeks as Reliance will not accept it. I have called and my account has remained open since they have not received my tank that they will not accept. I have called Reliance multiple times and they will assist me. I'm currently on hold with the a Reliance customer care rep and have been on hold for over 20 minutes. They refuse to assist. As their website says "We are here for you." Unfortunately they will not assist me.
