We have the maint agreement for our furnace and when it broke down we called for service. On Feb 19th the tech came and diagnosed the problem. He did not have a part but said the part would be delivered in a couple of days and they would come and install it. The part did not show up and we called reliance and found out the part had been backordered and would be in in a couple more days. When the part still did not show up we called again to find out the part still was backordered. You can see here that we are the ones that keep trying to follow up on the part. We are on day 15 in the winter with no furnace. I will say when you call in the people are nice to deal with, however we still have no furnace. We have asked them to call us with updates and Friday they did call and are still not sure of the eta for the part.
We were also told that we could purchase a heater for $80 and they would cover the cost, and that was a nice gesture on their part. We have also purchased electric heaters on our own in order to keep warm.
