Don't join their protection plan
They do good repairs but Im writing about their protection plan.
When a repair person was over doing work on our boiler, he looked at our Mr Slim head and said are you protected for AC? No. So I signed up for that in addition to plumbing and boiler protection.
A few months later I got a call from our tenants saying that the Mr. Slim was not working, so I call Reliance, then they told me that the AC protection plan doesnt cover Mr. Slim. But did they cancel that plan immediately because of their mistake? No. When I finally got around to calling them and cancelling a few months had transpired. Would they cancel it retroactively because it was for something that they didnt even cover? No, but they would give me two months break on the service going forward. But you dont cover the equipment I have, why would I want to continue the service I asked. So I cancelled and paid for six months of coverage for nothing. Now two months later and they are still billing me. I call they tell me that it is cancelled. "Why am I still getting billed?" "We don't know sir but someone is working on it", is the reply. To this day I am getting robo-called "your bill is overdue", and each month I get a bigger invoice.
Update: Gemma got back to me and said my account was taken care of in May but I'm still getting Past Due emails (July, 2022).
