I was experiencing some issues with excessive noise coming from my Frigidaire fridge. I pulled it out and discovered the noise was coming from the back of the freezer. However, I had no idea where to start. Decided to call a bunch of appliance repair companies and left voicemails. Peter returned my call within a couple hours, and he patiently walked through the symptoms that I had noticed. He diagnosed the problem immediately, but mentioned a couple of things I could check when I got home from work. I had asked for a rough quote, but he mentioned that he could provide an exact quote once he knew the price of the Frigidaire part. By the time I was able to provide the Model Number to him, Frigidaire had closed so he said he would get back to me the next morning.
As promised, received a voicemail from Peter the next morning with an exact quote for the work required to resolve the noise issue. I called back with a couple more questions that I had, and Peter patiently addressed those. It helps that he is a clear communicator. I decided to book a service appointment with him for the next morning.
Peter came within the time interval that he had promised the next morning, and brought along with him the required Frigidaire part. The issue was indeed as diagnosed over the phone so Peter went to work. Several things really stood out while he was working away. He was really pleasant to deal with. He takes alot of care during the repair, even in finding a safe spot to set his tools. He was also more than generous with my requests for information. Once the repair was complete, I was more than satisfied with the "back to normal" noise level. In addition by accurately diagnosing the issue over the phone and bringing the part with him on the first visit, I was able to minimize my time away from work (good thing).
I hope I do not run into appliance issues again in the future. But in the case that I do, I would definitely go back to Modern.
