I can totally recommend Barry to you. First, he is a man of integrity. You can trust him to do what he says he will do and complete it when he says he will complete it. Second, he treats your home as he would his own. He and his team took excellent care of our house, even making sure that the rooms that he was not working in were not being impacted by the construction dust of the other rooms. Third, his finished product was excellent. Everything matched and unless someone told you, you would have never known that the wall he built had not already been there from the beginning. Fourth, he has gone the second mile in follow up. Fifth, he is a very patient man. While they were in the building process, I had a hundred questions and he answered everyone of them to my satisfaction. Sixth and lastly, he is just a great person to be around. He was very interested in my life and we had some good laughs together while visiting.

When we decided to get a contractor rather than doing the drywall ourselves, I was very concerned with so many trades out there how to pick the right one. We had several quotes but after speaking with Barry from The Mudd Monkey my fears were put aside. We needed our basement drywalled and mud and taped. Barry's quote was inline with other even a little less than some, but it was really my trust in him that made us choose Mudd Monkey. Barry understood that having your family in the house required trustworthy trades with good personalities. He knows it's his reputation on the line and as a family man himself he wouldn't use trades that he couldn't trust in his house. We had a few complex curved walls and spiral staircase, and he and his crew did a great job. I am big on communications and Barry made sure to let us know when his guys (or he) would be coming. The job was done quickly and correctly the first time with good attention to detail. Barry stands behind his work and is a great guy to deal with.
