ALF Moving

ALF was awesome. Laura came to pack up our kitchen. She was efficient and very quick, and had a specialized way of packing. When I was taking the things out at our new home I found it very easy for me to do, Lance, Faisal, and Karl were amazing during the move, they were professional, attentive, and positive that made the entire process extremely smooth. Hopefully I wont be moving anytime soon but if I do, I would 100% choose ALF for their outstanding service.

The team at ALF Moving is simply amazing! Efficient, accommodating and supportive during the busy move. We were panicking a little because we were time-crunched, and then we tried to make things easier for the ALF team before they arrive by reorganizing, but ended up making more of a mess.
ALF Moving came, saw the mess and Aaron immediately started instructing everyone to divide and conquer. It was the best moving service.
I would honestly recommend everyone use ALF Moving. Excellent service from begining to end.

Had a wonderful experience with ALF Moving this week. Aaron and Deniz had to move an (exceptionally) heavy sofa through our back-door basement entrance. Despite it being almost too big, they managed it professionally.
Very on time for both pick up and delivery, everything went as planned and promised and looking back I cant believe how easy it was, especially we had a lot of boxes and furniture and they were managed beautifully.

This was an incredible experience, Alf moving made the entire process very easy for us. I was surprised that the entire move went so fast with no damages at all. The movers were professional and Karl even gave us tips on how to paint our walls since we were DIYing the wall painting process. Not only that but he helped us with the wall painting right there on the spot. The move costed less than what we were quoted with because the movers were so efficient. I really cant say enough good things about Alf moving!

This company is highly recommended. The moving crew was exceptionally professional, organized, clean and cautious. On top of that, the customer service and management team were great in their ability to answer all of my questions leading up to the move and in assisting with scheduling. It's clear that they truly know their business. I'm happy to report that there were no damages during the move and everything was handled with great care.

Moved from Hamilton Ontario to Calgary Alberta. Cant speak for anyone else but this company is great if you are moving across Canada for their attention to detail and timely service. ALF moving is definitely an upscale moving company if you will and you get what you paid for. My move was covered by my employer since I moved to Calgary for my job, and ALF moving was at the top of the recommended mover list, and I get it why that is now.

Not only did all my things arrived in their original condition, but also nothing was missing. Not even my earpods which I accidentally left at my condo on the day of my move (I thought I just lost them, but they were packed so nicely and arrived at my new place).

Extremely detail oriented, I spoke to a few movers and turned out they were engineers and architects in their home country before they started working for ALF moving in Canada, they have such a keen eye for details it was amazing.

First off, alf moving is a pricier moving company offering premium service but since they are so highly recommended by my friends I decided to go with alf. No regrets.

I mentioned alf moving to my colleague Samir because he is newly engaged and planning to move into his new home. Samir and me we both got an estimate from alf moving and the quotes seemed higher than market rates. I decided to go with alf while Samir used another company he found online.

Samir and me moved around the same time and everything went great and as expected on my end, very professional staff and got to my place even before me. I footed my bill and no surprises there.

As for Samir, this is a tale of caution and in stark contrast to alf moving. There were numerous charges on the day of for Samir, the other company first told Samir his things are heavier than the original quote so they had to charge him for almost more than triple the estimate. Samir had no choice but to say yes. Some items were damaged while being moved by the other moving company Samir had hired, but the other moving company refused to compensate him.

Samir ended paying more than I did and he was there the entire time to monitor and made sure nothing more goes wrong, by contrast, I stayed the first hour with alf and then went on to spend time with my wife until all things were moved safely to our new location.

It was really a no stress move for me and my wife, and the more I compare my experience with Samir the more I feel glad to have found a proper moving company which provided honest estimate since the beginning.

I have a private gym business and was moving to a different location, and I never seen movers like the ones at alf moving. Aaron came in for estimation and told me it will take 20 hours and 9 movers after checking the weight and size of all gym equipment. I said okay because this is the company giving me the lowest hours of estimation, and I was actually expecting the actual move will take anywhere between 25-30 hours because I heard from people in my line of work telling me moving companies always give lower estimation to attract customers.

I kid you not, they finished in 19.5 hours! UNBELIEVABLE! No additional movers needed for the move and they finished everything in 19.5 hours! One guy moved a medium smith all by himself, that thing was 300 lbs, this is just incredible because we dont have an elevator and carried 300 lbs and 2 floors with no hiccup. The movers didnt talk much they just wanted to get the job done, the on-site supervisor even told me they will keep chitchat to a minimum to have everyone focused on the equipment since they could get injured. The supervisor stayed with me and answered all my questions, and the movers just did their job with upmost efficiency.

ALF moving is the beast man! I didnt believe my referral when he said think of alf moving as the Porsche of moving companies because they are more expensive but they also get the job done, and dang it they are right! Back to prices, I dont think alf is as expensive as what I was told since I had no headache at all and less hours charged than estimate. If any other company I would have hired had to use more movers and take a bit longer than ALF Moving had, they would have been more expensive than what I actually paid for.
