I recently had an issue with my air conditioner's thermostatic expansion valve at the evaporator malfunctioning during a crazy heatwave in our city. I know my way around the air conditioner condenser and evaporator units enough to check the capacitor, ensure all the filters were clean, and inspect the wiring. Despite my efforts, I needed professional help for the things I wasn't quite qualified to do.

Paul and his team at MSR Mechanical Ltd. were incredibly responsive and efficient. Paul detected the problem very quickly by taking pressure readings of the refrigerant. They procured and replaced the valve within 24 hours, even though they were probably working around the clock due to the heatwave. Courtney assisted Paul with the work involved, contributing to the swift resolution.

From now on, I will only call Paul to look at my mechanical issues if they arise in the future. My only regret with this air conditioner, now 3 years after installing it, is that Paul wasn't the one doing the installation. I have immediate trust in his work and am extremely thankful that he was able to help my family out during such a critical time. We have had Paul from MSR install 2 a/c units for us over the last couple of years. The first one was in 2020, and the crew was very mindful of Covid. They did such a great job, that the following year, when we moved to Edmonton, we called them again to install another unit at our new house.
