RTA Landscape & Pools

The contractor owner (RTA landscaping and pools) showed up last year at our house and we were vary pleased at his great can-do attitude and good approach to getting what we wanted to have done.
It turned out such was not the case!
We can't get a hold of the pool contractor RTA Landscaping and they do not answer any text/calls it has now been a year since our initial deposit, plus our second deposit given this year in May.
So far for all the money payed we have a dug out pool hole in are backyard, previous numerous empty promises and no response from RTA Landscaping and Pools. I have found out that there are a number of other people in the same situation, one of them has a lawyer involved to try to get there money back.

Id like to share my experience with Mr. Tanaka( RTA landscaping & Pools )
On October 4th/2021 I entered a contract with RTA Landscaping &Pools to install an in ground pool and surrounding landscaping in my backyard.
Mr. Tanaka the owner of Landscaping & Pools assured me that he would be able to start the installation of the pool late spring early summer 2022
At the time my family was very excited to thinking they were going to be swimming in our new pool in the middle of the
summer.
On October 4th 2021 I gave Mr. Tanaka the owner of RTA Landscaping & Pools $48,108.00 as a deposit to insure he
He would start the installation of the pool at the time he promised
On May 2022 I contacted Rei to find out when he would start our pool, he always had an excuse why he
couldnt answer my calls
On June 27th 2022 Rei informed me he would start
my pool at the end of July. 2022.
On July 27th 2022 Rei informed me that he was still a couple
of weeks away from starting my job, and asked me to direct future communications to his administration assistant.
When I emailed his assistant to find out the start date of
my job, she told me that in terms of my job she suspects
the digging would start mid October.
At this time I figured this guy is just stalling and keeps giving me the runaround, so I asked Rei to return my deposit since he couldnt fulfill our agreement
Rei informed me that he has no problem returning my deposit, but he doesnt have the funds to give me right now. Its now May 20th 2023 and he is still giving me excuses as to when he can return my money

Rei, (RTA landscaping & Pools) has been untrustworthy in using my hard earned money for their own personal use
This company is not to be trusted and
shouldn't be allowed to stay in business.
My experience with RTA Landscaping & Pools has extremely negative.
Im not a disgruntled customer and I can prove all I included
in this review.
I just want to prevent others from being taken advantage by Rei (RTA landscaping & Pools).

We wanted to get a pool done in our yard from the moment we bought our house. We contacted RTA Landscape and Pools and Rei and his team walked us through the entire process. Rei provided us with a 3D video of what the pool will look like, walked us through the process and we decided to go ahead with his company. We could not be happier with the results, we have an amazing pool and our kids enjoy it on a daily basis.
Thank you Rei and team for making our dream a reality.

Rei was absolutely fantastic to work with. He has amazing attention to detail and is super meticulous about the work that is done. Everything was done to perfection. He was very knowledgeable about any questions or concerns we had throughout the process. He was accommodating to any changes we revised along the way and is a very easy person to get along with as well. He made the whole process enjoyable. We used his company for interlocking our driveway, installing a front porch, pool installation with surrounding landscape, softscape and concrete patio! We would recommend him to anyone!
