My experience with 5 Star Tiling, particularly with Frederik, was nothing short of exceptional. From the outset, Frederik's workmanship was impeccable, demonstrating a level of attention to detail that is truly rare. What stood out to me was not just the quality of his tiling work but also his commitment to communication. Throughout the renovation project, Frederik ensured that I was fully informed of his schedule and the tasks at hand, making me feel deeply involved in every decision.
Frederik's approach to the project was collaborative. He took ample time to discuss critical details and decisions, sharing his valuable insights and advice while also giving importance to my preferences and concerns. This balance of professional guidance and personal attention made the whole process incredibly smooth.
The project itself was challenging, involving the installation of large format tiles (2'x4') on uneven walls and floors. Frederik's meticulous preparation of the Kerdi board to ensure it was true and plumb was foundational to the success of the installation. His skillful use of laser levels, and tile clips and wedges, resulted in a tile installation that was nothing short of perfection. The straight lines, aligned grout joints, and flawlessly level surfaces speak volumes of the high-quality craftsmanship that Frederik brings to his work.
Frederik's work on our renovation project was exemplary. His dedication to quality, combined with outstanding communication and a considerate approach to client involvement, exceeded my expectations in every way. Frederik does beautiful work. He removed our dated 90s tile, acquired the new tile in the style we wanted and installed the new tile. He was so knowledgeable about the work and provided us great insight into which grout would hold up in the long term (who knew that darker grout is harder to keep looking clean than lighter grout!?) He was wonderful to work with and we are thrilled with the final product. His attention to detail is obvious. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you to Frederik and his father (with whom he works) we feel like we have a whole new kitchen.

I have used 5 star tiling multiple times over the years. Fredrick is very good at what he does, he is prompt and very particular. He gets the job done right with no bs and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him to anyone!

A big thanks to Fredrick and his helper (Dad) for taking care of our tiling. We had a backspash and fireplace surround completed. Fredrick is so friendly and worked really hard at fitting our project into a schedule that worked for both of us. Very thankful for his work. Very hard to find trades to help on projects when you are just a homeowner. A lot do not even respond. Would recommend him and his work for sure.

Frederick and his father were amazing in quality and timeliness. Frederick was very accommodating and worked cooperatively with the other trades involved in a major renovation in a very tight timeline. Absolutely exceeded our expectations in quality and timeliness.

We had a relatively small project that sometimes companies are to busy to take on. Frederik at 5 Star Tiling treated this project with care, attention and respect. Our shower stall needed repair to cracked tiles and a substandard base structure. We received a speedy quote and once we selected new tiles the work was scheduled quickly and completed in a timely fashion. Communication was clear. Work site was kept clean. The tile looks amazing and Ive had the first shower in it and am no longer concerned about possible leaks.

FREDERICK IS AMAZING! VERY PROFESSIONAL, USES EXCELLENT MATERIALS AND KNOWS HIS STUFF! THE GLASS DOOR COMPANY WE ARE USING SAID THEY'VE NEVER SEEN SHOWER WALLS SO STRAIGHT - MIRACULOUS IN A HOME BUILT IN 1979 WHERE EVERYTHING IS CROOKED! OUR TUB SURROUND, KITCHEN BACKSPLASH, AND CUSTOM WALK-IN SHOWER ARE BEAUTIFUL AND WERE ALL DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER. HE ALSO REPAIRED OUR TILED MANTEL ON THE FIREPLACE WHEN THE FRONT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. IT LOOKS BETTER THAN BEFORE! AS WELL, FREDERICK COMMUNICATED WITH US THROUGHOUT OUR PROJECTS AND WAS ABLE TO TROUBLESHOOT ANYTHING THAT CAME UP THROUGHOUT CONSTRUCTION. HE SAVED US MONEY AND TIME. AND WE LOVE THE RESULTS! I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED HIM TO SEVERAL PEOPLE.
