FREDERICK IS AMAZING! VERY PROFESSIONAL, USES EXCELLENT MATERIALS AND KNOWS HIS STUFF! THE GLASS DOOR COMPANY WE ARE USING SAID THEY'VE NEVER SEEN SHOWER WALLS SO STRAIGHT - MIRACULOUS IN A HOME BUILT IN 1979 WHERE EVERYTHING IS CROOKED! OUR TUB SURROUND, KITCHEN BACKSPLASH, AND CUSTOM WALK-IN SHOWER ARE BEAUTIFUL AND WERE ALL DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER. HE ALSO REPAIRED OUR TILED MANTEL ON THE FIREPLACE WHEN THE FRONT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. IT LOOKS BETTER THAN BEFORE! AS WELL, FREDERICK COMMUNICATED WITH US THROUGHOUT OUR PROJECTS AND WAS ABLE TO TROUBLESHOOT ANYTHING THAT CAME UP THROUGHOUT CONSTRUCTION. HE SAVED US MONEY AND TIME. AND WE LOVE THE RESULTS! I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED HIM TO SEVERAL PEOPLE.

We recently moved to Calgary and bought an older home in need of renovations. We used HomeStars to find a tile contractor. 5 Star Tiling was one of three tile companies that provided us with quotes. Only Frederik of 5 Star Tiling took the time to explain why some of the ideas we had wouldnt be practical, and suggest other solutions. It was evident he is detail oriented and an expert in his field. We made the right choice hiring Frederik. His work is of the highest quality, and he kept us in the loop every step of the way to ensure there was never a misunderstanding. We are very pleased with the work he did - kitchen backsplash, fireplace refacing, ensuite bathroom and laundry room floor. Very knowledgeable and did explain what needed to be done! One of my vinyl was lifting in middle of the floor. He was able to remove it without removing the entire stack and add a new one with his way!

This company did a great job with our cabin shower project. The job wasn't straightforward and required some thought and strategy. I was impressed with the knowledge and skill the company exhibited. The job required the demolition of existing river rock and cement base, and they handled it without an issue. They also saved us money on materials. The company is honest, has excellent skills, and is easy to work with.

5 star tiling did a great job on my kitchen backsplash redo. Timely initial quote and recommended where to get tile. Was on time, keep the job site clean and even took the time to explain what he was doing to my 6 year old son. I love the work and look forward to working with them again.
