Mr. Handyman of West Calgary

Mr Handyman gave me a quote to put lights in my bedroom and living room for $1013. The electricians came and did not appear to know what they were doing. They had to leave and get proper equipment and direction from the office and had to come back the next day. They cut enormous holes in my walls and ceiling and left me with a mess (part of the quote was clean up which they did not even bring a vacuum). They said drywall repair was not included but I was told it would be MINIMAL damage. The quote Mr Handyman came back with for repairs for the holes they cut was $2887.50. Almost 3 times the amount for the electrical work they did poorly.

A simple bathroom remodel to over 6 months due to many errors. Cabinet doors being the main issue for the delay. Measurement errors, defective doors were initially installed that had to be replaced. New doors were ordered and they were incorrectly measured/cut as well.Workers had to come over many times to fix these errors.
The management team is lacking in communication with their clients and trades which also causes delays. Also, not apologetic or take accountability for their errors or for the inconvenience caused. I would not recommend.

I had 3 baby gates to install. I called Mr. handyman who were great over the phone. They booked me right away and came out and got the job done. Great company!

We are a smaller condo that had several smaller items around the building that needed upkeep or repairs. A leaky gutter, some missing fascia, staining of wooden panels, etc. We contacted multiple companies but they were unable to assist as the job was too small or could only do one item. Mr Handyman completed all the repairs for a reasonable rate, will definitely be using them for all our future repairs/maintenance.

Great service, start to finish. Highly recommend to anyone in need of skilled labour with professional service.

Doug did a great job of listening to my vision and making it a reality! He advised and made suggestions if my vision wasnt possible. He is kind, courteous and conscientious of his work space and of my home.

Earlier this month, we had Doug, a journeyman carpenter with Mr. Handyman, onsite at our company's property west of Calgary to perform a number of repairs and renovations that required someone with his knowledge and skillset. We were not disappointed! Doug was very personable - he listened carefully to our concerns and goals and came up with viable suggestions that were both practical and resilient. We are so pleased with his craftsmanship and attention to detail that we're hoping to get him to come back to our property next spring to tackle more projects. We'd also like to mention the hard-working staff at Mr. Handyman's office - Janet and Nancy - who were a pleasure to deal with and made the entire process from beginning to end a positive experience. We highly recommend Mr. Handyman of West Calgary, and Doug in particular for all your carpentry needs.

Mr. Handyman came out to install our shed for us. The service was beyond professional. We had Doug come out and I loved the picture that was sent out to confirm he was coming to our home which I really liked. He was a definitely a pro. He walked us through the project explaining all the steps he would take to install our shed. He was super fast and efficient. I will be using Mr. Handyman again; no doubt!!!
