Jim took on our small project while it was small in scope, it was a very important project to us. Jim took the time to understand our scope of work and to help locate materials for the job. Communication was excellent throughout the project. Jim's staff were top notch and it was clear that Jim was able to retain good staff as he looked after them, paid them well and treated them with respect. There was one small bump in the road but Jim was very responsive and we quickly reached a solution that worked for everyone. If you need something done in your home, McCrae Construction are the ones to call.

McCrea Construction did a fantastic job rebuilding our front and rear decks. They listened to what we wanted and made suggestions to help us keep our costs down. Transparent throughout with no hidden fees and very trustworthy which is very important to me.
Will be using this company again for our other renovation needs in the near future.

Jim was hired to do a bathroom renovation. He provided a concise estimate and explained the terms of his contract. Jim was very approachable when we had questions. When we made changes to our project, he would accommodate any ideas we had. The tradesmen that he hired were very professional. I like Jim's attention to cleanliness. Having done other renovations, it is nice to know that keeping things tidy was a priority. My only criticism was that the project took longer than expected. I don't think that is unusual with any renovation project.

I was lucky to find John for a renovation of our rental house. We were wanting to do some upgrades in order to get it ready to sell. We were on a tight timeline and John was quick to meet to discuss the project, get the subcontractors in place and get the work done. He remodeled the main floor bathroom, finished the hardwood floors, re-carpeted the stairs, painted the front deck and fixed and painted a part of the front fence. We were very impressed with the speed and quality of the work and would happily hire him again. John was friendly and knowledgeable and understood that we were on a timeline and used materials he could get quickly (that were also good quality) to finish the job to avoid any delays. It was simple and straightforward and I'm so glad that we were able to find such a great contractor at such short notice. Thanks John, we will be using you again in the future I'm sure!

I had just purchased a new condo and it badly needed a complete replacement of baseboards and door/window casing before I could move in. Jim worked with my schedule to visit the property to review the work & materials required and provided a timely and very cost-effective quote.

As it happened, I was trying to get the project done during a very busy time for the market as a whole, and Jim's team was able to complete the work on-schedule and on-budget. I would highly recommend McCrea Construction.

Services provided in this project: supply of new trim, removal of old trim, installation/painting of trim (including some which required scaffolding), re-finishing/repair of small areas of drywall, site clean-up.

Jim and crew are awesome. I was referred to McCrea by another contractor, and Jim responded and set up a walk through quickly. He listened to our concerns and worked with us to keep the work within our budget and our timeline. Every conversation was straightforward and clear, and our entire scope of work was efficiently handled.
