Stairs were chipping away and needed resurfacing, we choose J.East to do the job and they did above and beyond our expectation.

Finding a good contractor has been something my husband and I have struggled to find throughout the past 30 years. We lost trust in all contractors. They either didn't do a good job, took a very long time to do the work, leaving a lot of mess behind. But this wasn't J. East Construction, they brought hope back to us that there is still good contractors out there. They provided excellent communication, great advice when it came to choosing and styling the interlock layout, and they followed through with their commitments. We are more than satisfied with their work and now know who we can trust with all our renovations in the future.

My wife and I were looking for a company to renovate our basement. We called J.East for a consultation and quote. The owner (Joe) came to our house and provided us with a step by step approach to completing our basement. Needless to say, we ended up selecting J.East to renovate our basement.

During the consultation process, all of the items we wanted were well documented and outlined clearly. Following the consultation, J.East provided us with a contract to secure the job which also included all details. Also, knowing that we were dealing directly with the owner rather than a sales person was highly beneficial and comforting.

From Day 1, J.East was very professional and transparent. They provided us with daily progress updates and made sure we were happy with the work they were doing. Joe and his partner were here everyday and ensured the work was done right and up to code.

The entire process was smooth with teams arriving on schedule and completing their work without any supervision or guidance. Joe and his team cleaned up after their work, so the basement was safe to view every night and show our family the progress.

The final product is a beautifully finished basement which can be seen in the pictures I have attached.

Our backyard was filled with a large hill that made most of it unusable for entertaining. J East came in and completely transformed our space into a highly functional, beautiful oasis. Joe and Barry did amazing work - they are both very responsive and have an eye for landscape. They take pride in their work and ensure each detail has been thought of and addressed. Further, they worked with our vision and created a backyard oasis within our budget that we are proud to show our friends and family.

Joe and Barry finished our basement in November 2020 and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. They completed everything from drywall, flooring, painting and tile. They were always professional and cleaned up after themselves. We would highly recommend them.

East Construction did the most amazing job on our front and side lanscaping of our home. Barry and his team were very professional, efficient and worked within our budget. Our home construction area was always cleaned at the end of each day as good as possible. We have already recommended this company to friends and they are also very pleased with the work done at there home.
