Gable Repair & Fascia Replacement

Thanks to Victor and his son for replacing my Gable and Fascia! Was a bit of a complex job (more than Victor anticipated) but they were true to their word and did a great job on the siding and fascia replacement. They went the extra mile in making sure the job turned out well and on cost. Thanks for your help with this!

Basement, renovation and path/Fencing to basement

Yeomanry team designed a new reconfigured flow in our house to enable a basement entrance that was seperate form the main floor. Their thinking was very innovative. Work, was top notch; floors, ceiling with soundproofing, developing kitchette made the area look impecable. Perhaps most impressive was their finishing touches that provdied the wow factor. Everyone that has seen the renovations have been very impressed. Finally the installation of our fence and pathway was another highlight with a really nice design. Photo's are shown

Home Renovation

I live in Montreal. I inherited a Vancouver property that had been rented for a number of years. I did not wish to move and just wanted to sell the place. There was much work to be done to make it ready for sale. Yeomanry did a fantastic job fixing it up.

Thanks for the positive review. One small problem though. There is a zero missing in the budget. $24,000 that is. Thanks again. Cheers.

kitchen, basement, deck, bedrooms

Employed Yeomanry Construction to renovate our home, inside and outside. My wife and my elderly mother were alone at home. I was a 1000-miles away during the entire time. I received daily and weekly reports depending on activities. They included explanations, pictures and at times videos. I was completely up to date. After a couple of weeks, whatever doubts I may have had evaporated.

The details applied were far above expectations. Workmanship excellent. Budgets excellent. Decks, topside (roof) and rear of the home completely rebuilt. Building envelope problems resolved once and forever. For instance, the ground is sloped from the front to the back of the house. One bottom corner wood frame was damaged because the concrete ended a foot below the soil surface. The solution was innovative and permanently resolved. The fact of the matter is, they noticed the defect on the first day and solved it for less than $100.00. by adding concrete and extending it beyond the corner. The list goes on. New bathroom downstairs. New electric subpanel, etc etc. Every detail, photographed, when necessary sketched, videod, and explained why? There was absolutely no vacuum from a 1000 miles out.

My family and I are pleased, absolutely. Recommend Yeomanry with complete convictions. They are the kind of service provider we all seek and logn for. No questions about. Yeomanry are the one for us as and when needed. The one and only choice.

More about Yeomanry Construction

GREETINGS:

I am Victor. My son is Alexander. My younger son is Trent. We three are the storefront. There's more of us. YEOMANRY is a vision. A journey of learning and development. Not in a typical caproate manner. It is about mastering a large bandwidth of skills. Highlight, the focus includes both, procedures and principles. There's more. It includes young men and young women we hire. They too are as important on this trek. Learning and mastering is all inclusive. There's more still. It encompasses the communities we work and live in. It is a symbiotic relationship among us all. We need a chance, an opportunity, to prove our selves. We shall. Thank you... and now to the rigmarole below.

We are a SELF PERFORMING GENERAL CONTRACTOR. Which means we do much of the work ourselves. Sometimes all of it. Sometimes less. Depends on permitting issues. In the next few years we will recruit all of those trades and pros. There are several advantages with this approach:

EFFICIENCY:
Teamwork. Our staff recruiting approach is different. We don’t recruit on a need to basis. We recruit continuously. We meet more applicants. Consequently, our staffing is superior. Next, training is an ongoing procedure. All of that and more shape our teams and crews. There is harmony, fluidity, without omissions. Lastly, every one of us has a voice. Thereby, there are significantly less errors, if at all. Point being, there are the usual vertical communications with one difference, information goes up, not just down. More importantly, there are lateral communications. Trips and falls do not exist. For instance, we operate in Teams, 2 bodies, 2 heads. Which in turn are formed into a crew. 3 teams. We can deploy a team, we can deploy a crew, or more. How does this work? PAPA (crew boss) calls the two team leaders and gives instructions. MOTHER (crew second-in-command) gathers the two team subordinates. They prepare team workstations on site. In a matter of 10-15 minutes the three teams are good to go. That's concurrent activity. No one stands around. Not a one. The crew has a pecking order from 1 to 6. When 1 (papa) steps away for whatever reason, 2 takes command. Now the buck is on number 2, etc. There is no fog of numbers here. Never.

ETHICAL:
We train our staff. We employ routines (simple approaches; procedures) bound within principles. There is a saying: When a person or persons compromise themselves once, do not be surprised, for the next compromise is just around the corner. Not here. Again, never. The burden of responsibility is ours. Good or bad, we face it.

COST EFFECTIVE:
We pay attention to details. Innovate whenever feasible. For instance, on a high-rise plumbing retrofit back in 1996, a gargantuan amount of demolition was scheduled to access and replace supply pipes. We were awarded the project. Afterwards we sat down with the customer (strata council). They agreed. $800,000 was saved. The retrofit was such that 90% of the pipes were subsequently accessible. That means future repairs and retrofits will be substantially less expensive. Plus, there was no need to replace the old pipes. We left the old pipes where they lay. The new pipes arrived by another path. A fortune was saved.

A customer referred us to a friend. They had a flat roof. The roof membrane was torched on. The roof was deflected. Pools of water collected remained most of the year. Roof replacement with another torch on was budgeted at $32K. We offered an alternative. They took it. A designer was required, structural engineer, and us. Total budget was $38K. The permit and the two consultants cost $8K. Now they have a pitched roof, an electrified attic, more insulation, tons of storage space, and the moisture that was present underneath the original membrane is gone. In effect now they have 2 roofs. The original one and the new. The best thing yet, everyone in the neighbourhood finds the house far more appealing since the add on. There are pictures somewhere here to compare whether I'm right or not.

The utility of us, we strive to excel, given opportunity we just might be that service that you never forgot.
Thank you for reading this through. We are…
