This space feels so much bigger with the light walls and glass shower doors! I love the acrylic subway tile, easier to keep clean over ceramic/ porcelain tile/ grout.

Cant wait for Matt and his crew to work on my next project.

Matt was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was friendly and professional and tactfully suggested ways to improve what my husband had already attempted to "fix". Our main bathroom went from a terrible, 70s inspired horror to a modern bathroom we are proud to show off to our friend and family. Job was completed on time and slightly under budget. Kudos to his electrician too!

I had Matt come out and do a Kitchen for me and the work was done fast and well done. Matt offers very fair prices and offers good work. I have nothing negative to say and after looking at pictures from his other referred customers I was happy to proceed. I do not regret it. Wife and I will be using matt for many jobs to come.

I had Matt from Aquila come out and build a fence for me. There were some tricky spots, but he did a great job, and the fence was perfect! I have since recommended him for other renovations to friends, and I have heard great feedback from them also!

Hiring Aquila Contracting was and still is the biggest mistake I have made in my life. Financially, it's been as big a disaster as the bathroom they renovated.

My second biggest mistake was giving them an out to not pursue them in small claims court for their "finished work" (I sought for a mutual release from my remaining financial obligations) There was no way I was going to let them near other bathrooms in my house with this work and lack of attention to detail. This took two months to look like this. COVID supply chain issues and leaving to start/finish other projects were the main reasons

Aquila Contracting in my opinion did a terrible job on my bathroom. I am not a professional contractor, nor do I even consider myself handy. I was however a naive homeowner looking for professional help in improving our house. I had many sleepless nights on this project and spent hours researching things like ANSI tile standards and Schluter edge protectors. Much to the chagrin of my wife.

They didn't tile correctly, (excessive tile lippage) didn't put edge protectors in properly, didn't grout properly leaving tiles with no grout or filling spaces with silicon. They did not silicone properly and made a mess of what they did do around my bathtub, and definitely didn't paint properly. Their painter painted over the mortar that had settled on my walls instead of removing it. I'll let the pictures explain further

None of this was even attempted to be fixed by Matt after discussing face to face the shortcomings in his company's work.

Matt was fantastic to work with and very professional, his measurements were perfect and the retrofit laminate slid right into place. Matt suggested that we extend the existing back splash to offer the kitchen a more modern look which was a great suggestion that kept our small kitchen renovation on budget and the exact upgrade we were looking for! We will certainly be contacting Aquila for future home projects, renovations or builds!

Matt was very professional when we met and made the decision of using him very easy. His prices were fair and his team of trades were very professional and knowledgeable.

What an amazing job done by Matt, overall completely satisfied by the work that I received. The quote was really good and the work was even better. Some materials took time but with covid this is everything. We are very impressed and highly recommend Matt for any bathroom work. Matt has been a great contractor and we will be using him going forward for many projects to come.

The project took 4 months to be completed (initially discussed 1 month). After a few weeks without work being performed, a subcontractor was hired to finish the project. A helper did most of the drywall without supervison and the door/ window casings were cut to fit the bulkheads. Some taping at the drywall joints are still noticeable even though that most were repaired and repainted.
Despite the delays and some disagreements, I’m happy to finally start enjoying the now livable space.

This job (painting and taking off the popcorn ceiling ) was a learning experience for all involved. In the end with some unnoticeable errors, the job done in my home has turned great. I'm really happy with the outcome. Now the house looks and feels refreshing.
