Daniel has an incredible eye for detail, he showed up to site and was very pleasant to work with, a very honest and transparent guy. Definitely the sort of person you want to trust with your project and making sure your investment goes well. Easy to get a hold of whenever I had questions or concerns. Definitely recommend him.

Aesir Carpentry was hired to do some repairs in my basement which was recently flooded. Daniel came onsite promptly to survey what needed to be done, took measurements and made suggestions to keep material costs down. He then supplied all materials and completed the work in one weekend to my complete satisfaction :-). Daniel is honest, hardworking and reliable. I would highly recommend Aesir Carpentry to anyone looking for a great carpenter to assist with repairs and/or renovations.

Hired these guys off of an advertisement on Kijijji for finishing my approximately 750 sqft basement. They worked on the framing, drywall, cabinets, trim and doors, painted, and supplied all materials for their work. I was given a broad selection of finishing options to choose from. Electrician, Plumber, countertop, and Insulator were separate. They gave me some decent references for those roles.

The owner has a broad understanding of construction, which was very helpful for me during the prework phase, as well as throughout the job. What i feel is most valuable, is that they are upfront about things, and tell you how it is. I didn't feel that I was being upsold, and most importantly, I felt comfortable with our interactions throughout the project.
