1 2 3 Roofing

We needed our roof done. I live in a semi, so we needed to get together with our neighbour to make it happen. We decided on 123 Roofing as we were happy with how they took the time to explain everything to us so that our decision was based on being truly informed. It was discovered that we needed some new plywood during the job and they were seamless with reporting and acting on that. Was a top notch experience. HIGHLY Recommended. 

Work was subcontracted out to a third party that had no idea what they were doing. Not mindful of protecting the property trees shrubs. Damaged other parts of the home.
I would not recommend this company.

Work started and completed on time and a thorough cleanup of yard and driveway. Workers were courteous and respectful of the property. Joe their scheduler was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with.

I'm updating my review 3 years after our roof was replaced by 123 Roofing. They At first, we were happy with the work (they pulled up the old roof, used 2x4s and plywood to create a sloped substrate, covered it in roofing materials, then added new gutters and downspouts.) They seemed friendly and competent. But a year after the installation, we experienced a leak in our kitchen. They sent someone out who said everything looked good and that we probably just had leaves plugging the downspout. I took their word for it and made an effort to keep the gutters clear. A year later, the same leak happened (once again damaging the ceiling and drywall in the kitchen.) Again, I reached out to them. Joe was friendly but continued to say that it's my responsibility to keep the downspout clear. In the 10 years prior to their work, we never had a leak, no matter how many leaves were in the gutters. And suddenly I'm supposed to believe that the leak is my fault for not keeping a few leaves out of the gutters? I don't think so.
Eventually I hired another company to inspect the system and they found a number of problems - only one downspout for the entire roof, improperly hung gutters, lack of proper fascia behind the gutters, too thin plywood, improperly adhered roofing, etc.
I keep contacting 123 and they keep telling me that they want to help, but they don't actually DO anything to make it right.
Eventually, I decided to cut my losses and hired another company to fix all the problems. I've had no leaks since. It cost us an extra few thousand dollars to fix the problems with the gutters and roof, and to repair the damage in our kitchen walls and ceiling.

123 Roofing from start to finish did a remarkable job at our home. Joe not only sold us on the idea of using top rate materials, he also educated us on the science behind roofing. Daniel and his crew were fast, efficient and professional the entire time, taking time out during the job to ensure the work site was free of nails and debris. Overall an A++ company and would recommend to anyone.

123 Roofing was hired to remove and reshingle the entire roof and replace all flashing and vents.

They completed this project on time, on budget and in a highly professional manner on all levels.

I was tasked with hiring someone to replace the roof and to repair some metal flashing on a small rental property that my parents and I own. We hired 123 and haven’t regretted it. There was one hiccup where the wrong coloured metal was used, but without any hassle, they replaced it a couple of days later. I’ve already used them on my own house for some attic work with the same results and I’d use them again.

My wife and I are first time home buyers, so we had all sorts of planned renovations before we moved in. However, we were hit with a few not so planned ones also, of which the roof was one. As it turns out, the new roof and insulation was the most painless of them all. Compared to the rest of the contractors we worked with, 1 2 3 Roofing was on a different level as far as being organized, communicating with us and living up to what they had promised. Great experience.

Our home is just a little over 30 years old. This is the second time we’ve replaced the roof, but this time we decided to upgrade our insulation in the attic and also redo all of the eavestroughs, soffit and fascia metal as well. Working with 123 was among the best contractor experiences we’ve had. They made everything seem easy and the end result is stunning. The house shines again! We couldn’t be happier with the result. Our house was being renovated, including changing elevations, which changed the roof lines. There are both flat and sloped parts of our roof, so we needed someone who could do all types of roofing and do them well. My husband was acting as the GC, so finding a roofing company that could handle all of this was difficult. Not by luck, because my husband did his research, we found 1 2 3 Roofing. Cameron was our consultant and Brad was our crew leader. They were both communicative and well versed in their jobs. They made us feel comfortable and well informed at all times. We could not have asked for a better experience working with these guys. We’d both like to say thanks again. Highly recommended!
