I would keep away from this (NOT) Plumber!!!!

Adam was hired to plumb a kitchen renovation. During the estimating and then rough-in phase I walked him through the sink locations and made it very clear that he was to place the pipes coming in through the cabinet far back into an adequate cavity provided for this purpose. I returned home to find that he had ignored my request and put the pipe right in the middle of the cabinet. Only at my insistence did he move the pipes to where I'd indicated. He 'jerry rigged' a waste disposal unit instead of telling me he was missing some original parts. Later I saw evidence of a leak under the sink so I monitored it for a couple of weeks by placing a red towel under the sinks. I discovered a substantial leak from the waste disposal (see photo). He had used an improper clamp which had come away from the discharge pipe. Adam insists that neither informing me of the missing parts nor making any attempt to source out the correct plumbing parts are part of his responsibility. He tells me he 'didn't get anywhere' with the Manufacturer and yet when I called them, they provided all the required information to obtain the parts. Eventually, his solution to the problem was to BLOCK a customer from further communication.

Update as of 24-Aug-2023: Building inspector failed both kitchen sink installations for not meeting code.

Adam and his crew were super reliable and responsive to my request. They showed up as early as 8 am as they promised to our home. They delivered the service as they promised for the proposed job.

Ikona plumbing were very covid-19 compliant very professional would definitely hire again. They went above and beyond and were wearing boot covers and masks at all times they respected my home and at the work done with no delays whatsoever very professional.

I was really impressed with the quality of work IKONA provided for me and my family. I am very particular about how the type of material and layout of my washroom but they were extremely accommodating and patient with me. They were punctual with the work and gave me top quality service. My washroom looks amazing now and the best part was they gave me a reasonable price. I can't wait to start on my next project with them! 100% recommend.

Adem is one of the best plumber I cam across, he is very professional and saved me from a huge plumbing disaster that was left from the previous plumber, I would recommend him to everyone that has a plumbing issue.

We had a leak on manifold in the basement. Various contractors came and gave enormous estimates for only the partial solution. Ikona plumbing gave a fair price and replaced the manifold completely in a quality way for a far less price in comparison to others. They respected our home, have done the work on the agreed day, did amazing work (artistic work - see the before and after pics.) and cleaned everything after. We also called them later for a bath tub leak where Ikona plumbing again did an amazing and honest job - i forgot the pricing for this but was very fair as well. I highly recommend the Ikona plumbing as they are not only professionals in what they do but very nice and honest people.

I HAVE BEEN USING ADEM FOR A FEW YEARS IN MY HOME AND APARTMENTS. HE IS VERY NEAT AND ORGANIZED. THE TOILET WAS LEAKING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED URGENTLY. HE PURCHASED A NEW ONE IMMEDIATELY AND INSTALLED IT VERY QUICKLY. ALL WAS DONE BEFORE THE TENANT RETURNED TO THE APARTMENT. WHEN EVER I CALL HIM HE COMES QUICKLY AND GETS THE JOB DONE. After being advised by the city that our old water meter needed replacing and that the downstream shut off had to be replaced by a plumber before they proceeded with the work we contacted Ikona Plumbing
They squeezed us in to a busy schedule the very next day. The plumber was prompt and courteous. Instead of proceeding with what could have been an expensive job, he pointed out that a functional downstream valve already existed further upstream. This meant the meter could be replaced without additional plumbing work.
Honesty is hard to find sometimes. However Ikona plumbing was professional and honest.
