Installer was very nice and went out of his way to install the dishwasher even with clearing out a cupboard that was not expected. He was careful with the covid restrictions and very clean. I would happily use his service again and would recommend him to friends!!

My Maytag dishwasher suddenly stopped working in mid cycle after 20 years of trouble free service. Fair Appliance Repair were able to inform me that spare parts were still available for this model if needed. Slava arrived promptly the next day, quickly diagnosed the problem, a short out in the wiring, and had the dishwasher working again very quickly, with no replacement parts needed. I would certainly recommend this company.

They came to fix the dryer but like with the washer, they found a solution that was simple and didn't cost big bucks like I had been quoted elsewhere. Feels like the good old days where people took pride in their reputation.

The element in our oven burnt out. Fair Appliance Repair Ottawa Inc. was one of the few companies that were actually able to provide me with a rough online quote before I committed to diagnostics. Their quote was reasonable, and they had someone come out to do the diagnostics the very next day. We had to wait a few days after that because our part had to be ordered, but a technician came as soon as our part was in and installed it in under 15 minutes! Very fast, efficient and friendly!

The technician that came to service my broken stove top was great. He was quick and solved the problem. I told him my element was out so they brought the part with them. Turns out it wasn't and instead of charging me for the part I didn't need but requested, I just had to pay for labour which was reasonable. Very trustworthy, will contact this company directly for future repairs.

Our dishwasher wasn't draining properly despite our cleaning the filter. We called our regular appliance repair shop and they were only booking appointments two weeks from now. So we tried home stars, asked for service today and we got a callback almost immediately from Fair Appliance Repair and an appointment for later in the afternoon, with a one hour time slot as opposed to the standard half day. Slava was on time, gave us a text 20 minutes before he arrived, was courteous and got the job done quickly and efficiently. He showed my husband what the problem was before he fixed it. Wonderful service! We will use this company from now on for all of our appliance repairs!

Installer arrived slightly early. He wore a mask and maintained distance at all times. He did a fantastic job including moving items I did not know needed to be moved. Also moved the old dishwasher out to the end of the driveway.. Would definitely hire this professional again!!
